Poll: Still playing MW2?

I've played both MW2 and Bad Company 2. I've sunk plenty more hours into MW2. Band Company is good but it just can't hold me for some reason. I get bored of it very quickly. Although the same is true for MW2 right now. Maybe I'm just sick of FPS.

But yah. People play it because they enjoy it. Opinions differ. Is this so hard to understand?

It doesn't get me angry in any way, really. I find little reason to HATE it, so yes, I still play it. I don't see why not to, I rarely encounter campers and noob tubers are the only thing I consider quitting over, and even then I rarely DO quit.
I still can't understand why it pisses so many people off.

and i dont play it, after getting 3rd prestige ... i gave up... same with cod4 only get to third , and im a casual gamer so i think i had my fun, time to play borderlands and metro 2033 again

I haven't found a new game as such but I got other games for my new PS3. I played MW2 loads on the PC, bought a PS3 and played it on that too but that version just sucked so much for me so I returned it and got other games...

Gotta say, I hate the game to the core. Like, genuine hatred- its as if the game wants to snuggle all the crap players and give them as many advantages as possible, the only reason i play it is cos my friends do, URGH.

That said, i play cod4 when i can and have a great time. such a shame that they blew it so hard with this mainstream piece of scum. ><

I play from time to time. Mostly when I'm bored or going to play a match with a friend. I msotly play spec ops now though so its not exactly the same.

I can't stand it, I played it and got to rank 19 then gave up.

to be honest I am just putting it down to the frustration of me sucking at the game

I enjoy MW2, though I do mostly play the campaign, I find it easy to get immersed in the story. The multiplayer is very annoying I'll agree, but not everybody's a screaming 12 year old douchebag, and not everybody is using those Cowboy Winchester efforts to kill people without even aiming at them! But hey, I do like all of the CoD games, apart from the two PS2 ones and 3, which is...not so good

The game has no soul. It's horrible to play online and the campaign is too short and poorly written to bother playing.

It wasn't the players that bugged me (as you can't blame the players too much) but really got me is the developers. They should have beta tested it, as the bugs keep popping up. DefendTheHouse just made a 21 video playlist on glitches in MW2, and they already had at least 10 videos about glitches up. And the shitty spawns were ridiculous, and the class setups could be too. OMA, Danger Close, and Scrambler was a pain in the ass.

But mostly, it was just... frustrating. When I died in COD4, I usually laughed and realized what I did wrong. Then I played again. In MW2, when I died, it felt like my goal was to get my kill streak to the last one, so I was always pissed when I died.

im not playing anymore. at least not alot (less than 4 hours a month) its part i lost intrest, and part the fact that everyone playing complains (i hate it when people complain about someone using the "noobtube" or someone is camping... they are both an important part of the game. if i was in a real war i certainly wouldnt run out into the middle of a battlefield).

Been playing it less and less after I got 100% achievement completion on it, still play the AC 130 spec op mission occasionally though...Actually moved BACK to Gears of War 2 and continued my march to Seriously 2.0 and Veteran Gear...Played the online multi on MW2 for awhile but just didn't like it much.

To be honest, I hate the game to no end, and my friends dont understand why. I play a few hours a day, but ONLY because its the only game my friends play. So, its either deal with the horror of a game that is MW2, or beat GTA IV.....again....

same here its like the old craze with halo everyone doing it

I played MW1 and thought it was way too serious, so I just went back to playing Halo 3.

Haven't gotten around to playing MW2 yet, but I will one day, and I assume it will be the same as MW1.

I don't mean this is an insult to MW2, I just prefer Halo.
