I alredy apologised and said that I don't know why anyone would commit suicide. You have to be really depressed and see no light at the end of the tunnel.

What I meant was that it's better to try to take care of the problems instead of killing yourself, leaving the loved ones with sorrow and pain.

But I can't help to feel that you are basicly saying: If you are in deep shit, jump of a bridge.

But that can't be correct, right?...

Some problems don't have solutions, and once your pain exceeds your capacity for coping, you're done for. If you don't know why anyone would commit suicide, you're either too inexperienced or incapable of empathy.

Um... wait, why would you get in prison? Just try and kill someone to get into solitary confinement and then slowly go insane.
For the disease, ignore reality. Go insane in the confines of your mind. Your imagination is much better than the real world anyway.

I'm a "fucking piece of shit"? Hundreds, sometimes thousands of people die everyday, I don't have time to care for all of them. Maybe I'll care for one or two, which at my age would mean I've cared for 4,800 dying people.

Nowhere have I expressed a lack of empathy for people who commit suicide. You're making things up.

Well, it couldn't be with the fact that you're telling me that you shouldn't try to help sucidal persons.

These people need help. They can't help themself out of this and you come here and tell me that they shouldn't be helped.

If people are really depressed, like mental illness bad, then they can't really be blamed. But for most people it really is selfish, they are having some problems so they pretty well ruin everyone else lives because they dont feel they can fix the problem. Most of the time suicide is worse on the family than something like a car crash because your family grieves your death and wonders why, why did he kill himself? Why didn't he talk to his parents, tell someone he was having problems, could his death have been prevented? It tears at the hearts and minds of family and friends!

EDIT- Oh and I fully, and I mean fully support assisted suicide, why should people have to live through live only to look forward to death? I can think of nothing more cruel than a doctor telling someone they have 0% chance of living, but it will take a year to die and the person is stuck in the hospital. Why make them suffer through a year of pain, suffering and misery just so they can die?
