I'd like to get one. I have such a tie and love for water that I want to get a water tattoo. I read that old deckhands on ships would get a rope tattooed on their wrist so I was thinking of that. Or a compass on my back or something.

I also love fish and I have a betta. I was thinking maybe a betta somewhere.

I dunno though, they're so permanent though y'know? That scares me.

Don't have any yet, but I'm working up drawings of what I want. The first one will probably be small on my left arm. Right now I'm considering a stone Triforce, with olive branches wrapped around/growing up it. I'm pretty sure this idea will change but I do want it to mean something to me. The Triforce works perfectly because it involves games (which are a massive part of my life) and it represents balance.

I don't regret getting either one, but I don't plan on getting any more, at least not at this time. I made good choices, both are somewhat timeless for me; the Hellspawn reminds me of my geeky/nerdy side and how much I love it, and I've had a thing for dragons since I was 3 - long story short, I wouldn't dream of getting rid of them.

Maybe it depends on where the tattoo is located, but the pain was definitely bearable. The line art hurts a bit at times, but the coloring feels like a warm massage in comparison (which is weird because a whole bunch of needles is used simultaneously for that).

My family is very Scottish, so we have a Scottish family crest. My dad and my brother both have it as a tattoo, and I plan to get the same on my 18th birthday. (Currently 17. The countdown has begun.)

EDIT: Here is our family crest:

The writing translates to "Victory or Death".

I have a few, I'm trying to complete a full sleeve at the moment. Most relevant one for here is Pyramid Head on my arm (silent hill 2, of course!)

I have no regrets, and implying I will will get you raged at.

Also starting a chest piece soon.

I do not have one and I do not plan on getting one because if I did get a tattoo I would end up not liking the one I chose.

I don't have one right now; but when I turn 16 my mom's getting me one for my birthday (to cover up some scars). That's only a few months too, cause my Bday's in September. I'm getting something ganja related XD
I would suggest a picture of Hunter S Thompson.

I just would.
You don't trust you own decision making abilities when it comes to tattoos for crying out loud!

OT: No, never will. I don't like the idea of peircings either. Besides, I've heard that you can get skin dieseases if the needles aren't clean (which they are I know but there's always that dirty shithole whos owner bribes the health inspector).

Yeah, but that's my body!

I'm perfectly willing to suggest ways for others to deface their bodies at random!
Your like my cousin, I never go to her for advice because I know that she is the type of person who will say "Yeah great idea [insert suggestion]. DO IT! DO IT! DO IT!" and turns out what she suggested you do wasn't such a shit hot idea after all. She then will tell you that she already knew what would happen and just told you to so she could laugh at you later.

I don't have any, but there are a few I would like

I would also like a tattoo of DVh on the outer part of my foot.

I have also been considering a scissor tail flycatcher, but idk where it could be tasteful yer

I took one of my favorite drawings of a zombie and had it tattooed on my right arm. Of course my skills have improved since then and it looks kinda ugly now, but I would not change it and I'll never regret it. A tat is about the time and place when you get it and the memories it can hold for you, even if it's ugly 10 years down the line. And for an artist, it can carry even more meaning since, for good or ill, it was my artwork and I carry it with me everywhere I go.

I has. A rose with a little dragonfly on my right ankle. It's very special to me because it has a story.
And it hurts. Like a *****. I sweated onto the chair, and it was august in australia, it hurt that much. but i don't regret it and doubt i ever will. not that my grandparents will ever see it.

I would never get a tattoo...one because I am a wimp and two I don't want to have one when I am older. I have a friend who has a tattoo and ended up hating it, she wants it removed but tattoo removal is very painful and expensive. My brothers both have them also but they just look so ugly.

I have Pacman on my foot, I was drunk.
Don't regret it but it's not the best idea I've ever had, yet it's by far not the stupidest.

Might get it coloured in properly and done with something more professional than a needle sellotaped to a pen.

I don't have one, but I've been think about getting one. It's just that I can't think of anything meaningful that I would want permanently stamped on my skin. Not a big fan of pain either.

EDIT: However, there were couple of things I was seriously considering:

Yeah I have lots actually ... I have a full spider-man themed sleeve, Hyrulian Crest on my right forearm, a huge sun on my back with the Japanese symbol "ten" (means sky, heaven, early death,to die young...depending in the context of the sentence)in the center, x-man's/Nate Grey "X" on my right chest and the venom logo on my left, and the biohazard logo on top/ball of my right shoulder ... I love them all / no regrets ... and have the rest of what I want already planned out ... of of which fit underneath business attire and have never held me back in any aspect of my life ... so never listen to anyone about that ... just keep them below the neck and off the hands ... anyplace that has you wearing a t-shirt to work shouldn't care if you have a tattoo, and any respectable job that allows you to wear a business shirt/suit won't know you have any anyway...

Unfortunately, I still have to legally obey all my parents wishes for the next 6 months. But I do plan on getting one. Don't worry though, it will be something not dumb and will be on a place on my body where it isnt always being shown off.
