I laughed my arse off when i first saw news about this. The govenor was asked to name three things the fed.gov had done that were too extreme. He sputtered for a couple of minutes, minced out the "no child left behind" policy (which was one of bush's programs), and then said the feds had been interefering for too many years. Since it was on fox news, they accepted that as proof obama was ruining the country, but I was in stiches at the sheer retardation levels.

just some statistic data I'm going to toss into the mixing pot here... so Texas in 2008 produced 41% of domestically produced cotton which is going to be around 1.14 billion dollars, also Texas produced 21% of domestically produced oil in 2008. this is just a few of the statistics i looked up after seeing this thread pop up... not to mention corn wheat etc, produced in here in the great state of Texas. Im not saying Texas should seceded but id like to see how the US fairs....
