I tend to prefer the Xbox 360 controller above all for FPS games.

Bleh, I'd say Dual Analog. The mouse and keyboard is good for accuracy, but when you're in the middle of an intense firefights it seems like there's a million buttons on the keyboard and finding the right one to call for help or switch weapon is a real pain.
But what if your used to the amount of buttons, obviously that is better with more options and just one key press to do anything instead of mini menus that you get in some games.

Keyboard and Mouse all the way.

I would, however like to see 2 teams of progamers take each other on across multiple genres using one controller type per team and then switching.
FPS
RPG
MMO
Strategy (computer exclusive as console can not remotely come near the precision required)
Simulators
Flight simulators
mouse and keyboard

Sports
Hack&slash
driving
controler

honestly why did everything shift to console, expecially things like Strategy games because they are too complex for such a simple control system

Dual Analogue.

Mainly because the only computer I have capable of running a modern game is my laptop, so FPS + Touchpad = No no no.

I can't stand playing FPS's with a keyboard and mouse, it's a better system for overall control and general accuracy, I just don't find it enjoyable to play like that.

Dual Analog.
Even on the PC FPSes I own, I've set up my controller fine. (granted, I've set it so it uses the exact same controls as Orange Box, PS3 version but they're a set that work fine.)
(Of course, one main downside is that aiming becomes a little trickier which is why I alternate between WASD+Mouse and Sixaxis at times)

Well this won't end well....

Personally I prefer to use dual analogue sticks, I don't really like sitting at a desk while I'm playing games, I find it to be less immersive.
so you sit in a chair?

I prefer using dual analog but I have to admit, the Wii-Mote controls really good if done (Metroid Prime 3, haven't played Conduit).

Mouse and keyboard.
I find it a lot more akin to turning your head around, more... responsive.
I dislike auto aim systems and I like being able to turn around quickly and precisely :)

I prefer mouse & keyboard over anything, though I've never really used anything else.

Arms and legs. So much more intuitive. :p

In all seriousness, mouse and keyboard FTW. OK, I prefer analog sticks for sniping (as it allows you to zero in more accurately and track moving targets), but in any other situation, mouse is the way to go. It's, well, so much more intuitive than dual analog, and works a lot better in close quarters, as you can spin instantly to face your enemy instead of rotating too far and emptying a full clip into the wall.

Mouse and keyboard are more accurate, but I chose Dual Analog.

Reason? I unno, I feel more comfortable with it. Wii Remote is good too.

The Dual Analog (especially wireless) allows you to do more than just sit in front of you TV ('puter, whatever) You would have freedom of movement, and in a good FPS (which other than Goldeneye I haven't found) or RPG I would usually find myself standing and sometimes yelling at the TV...do that with a keyboard and mouse!

Mouse and Keyboard, I recently switched from track pad which is a complete ***** to play with at the worst of times and only mildly annoying at best. The mouse is faster, gives you much more accuracy, causes less hurt to my fingers, but I do like Metroid Prime's system a lot too.

I have to agree, dual analog seems way more "natural" (I don't think that's the right word)- meaning they are so much easier to control than with, say pc controls.

Im mixed between Dual analogs and mouse and keyboard

I guess I'll go with dual analogs because while its obvious the mouse is far superior to aiming than the right stick, but I feel much better control over all of the player character with a dual analogs (stick to move feels so better than WASD, and with all buttons at finger tips I can act quicker)

Though I don't care which one I use of those both feel comfortable as long as keyboard controls are mapped to my preferences
