Just a thought but a lot of these names have been used a lot of times. For instance the only time I've come across a character called Kratos was in Tales of Symphonia (feel free to kindly go to wikipedia and look it up).

Also: Capitals, names so proper nouns so "Cole Train".
And "Master Chief".
And now I've spotted it "villain".

Oh, we had this thread a long time ago, and we pretty much decided Duke, & Samus Aran. Kratos is runner up, but after all, he has those extra godly powers which kinda unbalances the playing field. Duke and Samus are just genuine bad ass.
