Daleks.

Especially on worlds with perfectly flat terrain and all the buildings have lifts in them.
They have hover units, you know. And they had them in the original series as well.

I would have said Daleks, but seeing as some preschoolers have been let loose on them in the latest series turning them into some kind of rainbow brigade, id have to go with the Weeping Angels

The master definitely! I was signing "i can't decide" for weeks after those amazing episodes! Plus the old creepy skeletal version of him was pretty cool too.

Yah totally the Doctor has no regular enemies apart from the guys whove appered in the 28 years of the TV show. Like :-

The Rani
Ice Warriors
Yetis
Zygons
Cheetah People
The Black Guardian
The Great Vampire
Haemovores
Movellans
Buh...whu'...most of those weren't regular enemies. Over half those you posted were only in one episode.

From the poll, I'd have to say the Daleks. But Blink was my favourite episode of all until last weekend, when it was suddenly trounced by The Time Of Angels. I freaking LOVED that episode! And so yes, I have to say, the Weeping Angels rule the halls of villainy for Doctor Who :D.

The Master. Unlike the Daleks, the invincible legion of life despising super soldiers who manage to be thwarted every freakin' time, the master was in every way the Doctor's equal. Hell, you all saw that series finale where he turned David Tennant's Doctor into Yoda and kept him in a birdcage for an entire year whilst ruling the world with an iron fist, safe in the knowledge that he had finally become the victor. Hell, it took the entire human race thinking the same thought in unison to take him down. Compare that to Arthas, who can be taken down by 10 nerds* with a bit of effort, and then you realise the power of the Master.

[sub]*Apologies to any WoW players, this was just for reference.[/sub]

I said The Master, just because of his relationship with the Doctor and his doggedness and refusal to give up. I could say the same for the Daleks, but they don't have John Simm.

Now the scariest, that is definitely The Weeping Angels. Good lord...I made the mistake of watching that episode for the first time at 11 at night. I'll never be able to look away from a statue again.

The Daleks are no longer threatening. They are now overused, boring, campy and colourful. More so with the redesign.

OH GOD NOT COLOURFUL!!!

Umm anywho gotta go with the master since he's the one, in the latest series's who's done some of the worse stuff. Also since the Daleks are now answering to Zordon, I don't think there as menacing .

So it came to pass, that the human race fell....and the Earth was no more. And I looked down upon my new dominion, as Master of all, and I thought it...good.

As much as I love the Daleks they seem to becoming bastardized, so I'll have to go with The Weeping Angels, very original idea and look forward to them coming back regularly.

The weeping angels are awesome but the Daleks do remain the Doctors greatest enemy.

That said, part of me does hope that we don't see anymore of the Daleks this series. They do seem a little overused these days...
we've already seen them (episode 3) with a facelift and they seem to be set to reappear.

Strange how the first time I saw a Dalek I was thinking "what... seriously? THIS is supposed to be a nemesis?" but they sort of grow on you later
Count me in as well for doubting the Daleks as a threat. First time I saw the epsiode called "Dalek" I pretty much scoffed at the thing, thinking that there was no way this thing could ever be a threat till it broke free and slaughtered everyone in sight with it's beam weapon.
Same thing here. And when they did start to grow on me as an enemy, i saw what they looked like under the metal and almost Laughed out loud.
