I wouldn't recommend it, but that's only because I don't see the worth in buying something you've already played. (This is personal opinion; I'd already played Half Life 2 and portal].
TF2 isn't TF2 unless it's on the PC.

Three good games for dirt cheap, why wouldn't you? It was a good deal when it first came out full priced.
It's five: Half-Life 2, HL2: EP1 and EP2, Team Fortress 2 and Portal. And because it's FIVE games it's an even bigger reason to buy it. BUY IT NOW!
[SUB]God, I sounded like a salesman on TV..[/SUB]

Haha! Go buy it! Now. Probably the most priceworthy game I ever bought.

In my opinion, no.

But you should buy it, to gain your own opinion and judgements, even if you don't enjoy it.
I'm with this chap, I hated all the games in there- except Portal; even that wasn't anything spectacular though.

It's one of those gamer things though, you pretty much have to buy it.

*Breathes in* HHHYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAASSS! IT-IS-THE-SCHMEX!

Five! FIVE games for the price of one! One better than the other! You don't like epic stories? Here, have TF2, no story, just shooting online. You don't like long games? Here, Portal, a puzzle game. Something longer, you say? Half Life 2 PLUS two extra episodes, how's THAT?!

Seriously, GET IT NOW! You will not regret it!

It's awfully hard to enjoy Protal due to the Monty-Python-and-the-Holy-Grail-effect, though if you don't have internet access and don't talk to anybody in your daily routine it's a blast. I personally found Half-life 2 to be kinda meh, but I'm not a single-player gamer, so forgive me. Tf2 is the most fun and supported multiplayer competitive shooter. It. Is. Awsome.

My lord, buy it.

The best single-player shooter ever to be created by man and two continuations, a frankly astoundingly brilliant puzzle game and a fantastic multiplayer class-based shooter.

If you don't buy it, it's you that's missing out.

While I ragged on Half-Life 2 and never played Team Fortress 2 due to my lack of LIVE, it's still a great deal. It's basically 1 large Single Player game, 1 Large Multiplayer game, and 3 small single player games for $20. You can't beat that with a stick, and it's probably one of the best gaming deals out there right now, right up there with Fallout 3: Game of the year edition and Fable: The Lost Chapters.

This is a 100% yes. Any one of those games could go for $40 - $60, and they're all packaged together for less than $40.

That is the greatest deal you can find, and there is no way you will ever regret it, even if you only like one of the games in the end.
