On the PC its a must have, TF2 has grown to about 5 times its launch size and the other games are timeless.

If you own no other games for your pc or Xbox 360, I can understand this thread.

If not, BUY IT NOW! (And I didn't like Half life 2 and episode 1 all that much, yet Portal, Half life 2:Ep 2 and Team fortress 2(although it's a tad mediocre on the xbox 360) are all great).

are you kidding me... fuck yes, not only do you get Half-Life 2 which has a fantastic story, plus episodes 1 and 2 with it, but you also get the amazing game Portal and the Online game Team Fortress 2. It's one hell of a deal.

I enjoyed it. Portal was fun, Half-Life 2 was fun, don't play online so I haven't tried TF2, but HL2 is INSANELY long and will keep you busy for hours.

The amount of games alone is worth it, not to mention the quality and how much care has gone into keeping them working perfect. I've put more time into the games in the Orange Box (TF2 mostly) than most other games.

Though console versions I don't recommend, only because TF2 isn't supported to the insane degree it is on PC.
