My parents nurtured my nerdiness as a child--I was given a book to read at age 10.

I went to Catholic school, so imagine my repressed childhood. =P

I got the talk when I was around 6 or 7. I stumbled across porn only once in the form of a pop up ad that wouldn't go away when I tried to get rid of it. It wouldn't have been so bad if it wasn't an ad for a very bad fetish site. *shudders in remembered trauma*
Lol now I want to know what fetish

I never got The Talk. My parents, to this day, swear they gave it to me, but I'm sure that's the kind of thing you don't forget.

My parents never had the Talk with me. Well...they kind of did, but it consisted of "sex it bad so don't do it!"
So, I guess I learned on my own. That and my school's sex ed units in 5th, 7th, and 10th grade.

Nope, my parents are cool enough to let me figure it out on my own. Thanks to today's society, I had the basics down by 11 or so, and had some experience at 15.

I have to blame cinemax and the playboy channel for this. My parents never needed to give me the talk. I figured it all out on my own.

i never got the talk, i usually learned at school or in the webz, but any question i had i went with my mom, she was great and didnt hold back while answering thrutfully as if asking her about the weater, i guess my parents never fussing about those things was one of the reasons i am so open about sex

I saw how funny it was when kids asked their parents where babies came from in cartoons and I thought it would be funny to ask my mom. I didn't know she thought that anyone old enough to ask that question was old enough for the full, unabridged answer. A couple hours later, I promised myself I would never do anything I saw in a cartoon again. I was 6 years old...

Cool? I think parents are down when they actually sit and talk to their child about sex. Because learning by yourself doesn't always put you on the right path.

My knowledge comes from the school system, Family Guy, and South Park.
Yeah learning about sex through cable doesn't always put you on the right path.

I found out around the age of 7 or 8 from watching Simpsons and Family guy. I then later found out that Dogs can not mate with Humans.
