If a god existed, I could only imagine it to sound like a space marine with the helmet voice thing(like the space marines in Dawn of War and Dawn of War 2)... or like an eldar.
Hoomans are too regular.
Well, either that or Morgan Freeman, obviously.

I always figured it should sound like the person hearing themselves, but depends on the story.

And if there is an actual god, would depend on his/her/its character.

Or maybe that you can't comprehend what it sounds like, since it's beyond you, and the knowledge is sort of projected into your brain directly.

I always figured God sounded like a mixture of all choices. Figured God has the characteristics of everyone in the universe. Morgan Freeman would the most dominant, though.

A human voice is to an "angelic" voice as the sound of a person saying "aaaaaaah" is to a pure sine-wave. I've often imagined supernatural voices that way: so perfect as to be creepy. I guess that's similar to the sound of GLaDOS' voice.

Samuel L. mother fucking Jackson!
I'm glad someone else thought so! The Old Testament would be even more badass if it included everything Samuel L. Jackson has ever said, quoted at random.

I'll be honest, if I were to hear the voice of God and it didn't sound like Optimus Prime, I would cry myself to sleep that night.

Well, since it's already obvious that Morgan Freeman is God, I'd be surprised if he didn't sound like himself.

It's a bit of a toss-up between Morgan Freeman and Brian Blessed but I'll have to go with the latter.

Liam Neeson. Why is he not there? He was chosen to play Aslan for a reason; his voice is perfect for it. It's soft, caring, yet powerful at the exact same time, and on a moment's notice he can become downright threatening when he has to. It's that strong existence of powerful caring love and intense, immeasurable power that makes his voice so perfect for this.

Hello ladies.
That said, I think Morgan Freeman is the only real voice of god...
Okay, that commercial is awesome!
But my vote goes to Stephen Fry, for reasons see the Zero Punctuation on Little Big Planet.

I can only add that I think the devil sounds like Tom Waits.

Or maybe, James Brown as the voice of god? Can I get some light? YEAH! I'ma cut em up in 2, y'know, like, night and day? YEAH!.
Actually just the angels sounding as the James Brown backing would be awesome...

I was going to say Christopher Lee at first but then I realized that he's actually the voice of Death (or rather, The Death of Discworld) So, I guess God's voice would sound differently depending on the listener. To me, God's voice is that of Gilbert Godfried.

"God" (or my good conscience) sounds like a smart and sexy girl with a slight english accent in my head. I'm okay with this. Oh, and she wears glasses.
