some like it some don't.

I'm on episode 13 trying to figure out why everyone on the escapist likes it soo damn much, So far nothing to answer that question. Not that its a bad show, but its nothing really revolutionary.
So, you gave it 13 episodes and you don't like it? None can say you aren't giving it a chance, that's for sure.

You're forgetting it's next stage.

After everyones been over enamoured by the show because they were in their teens and watching a kids show. It will fade back into obscurity and no one will give two flying farts about it.
It's on my list of cartoons to save for my children along with the cartoon network greats of the late 90's (Dexter's lab, Samurai Jack, Cow and Chicken, etc), the Nickelodeon greats of the late 90's (Spongebob, CatDog, Hey Arnold, etc), and if this isn't an endorsement from me nothing is, Animaniacs.

This show is around the same level to me as Animaniacs. It's weird.

I've admitted to all of my friends and class-mates that I like it (and even had a "debate" (read yelling match) with a classmate over weather Dora the Explorer or My little Pony was superior). Therefor, I am awesomely confident/insane... Or I'm surrounded by freaks, either way.

The major difference there being that just about no one will say that excrement is delicious but there are many people on this website who will who will say My little pony is a good show. And you can't exactly smell a television show.

I enjoy both and I think it does help that MLP:FIM has such high quality animation and a different style from the original show.

Actually, the stereotypical anime nerd wouldn't be comfortable watching my little pony. Watching and enjoying the show demonstrates confidence in one's masculinity.
Its true. If you can walk around saying that you love mlp: fim, you are going to be more masculine and confident than if you went around hating it (easy way out).
Would be a true statement. If not for the fact that everybody and their dog seem like that show.

You're pretty much bulletproof if you profess to liking that show and vomit out a load of ridiculous friendship memes.

You catch more flak for saying you don't like it.

So I'd say your comment shoulda done a 180 with it's subject matter really.
Only everyone on the internet. Out in the real world, you get tons of flak for liking it.
You mean the real world has more sense than the internet?/?/? Hhhhhhhinteresting.
The internet has anonymity, going up to someone and saying you watch My Little Pony WILL get you negative attention, doing it on the internet has no negative repercussions IRL.

I wish my reality was that awesome... If I brought up the fact that I liked MLP to anyone I know, they would not understand. Mostly because they would have no idea what the hell I was talking about and shrug out of ignorance.

Samurai Jack was the only one of those I liked. And the only good nick toon was Zim.
Dude, you don't like Animaniacs?

I'm sorry then. You have the weirdest view of what good cartoons are to me.

I've told all of the people I know in school. They gave me weird looks and snickers for awhile, but now, though jokingly, they bring it up by themselves now, no prodding from me involved.

They'll come around, and they laugh when I tell them they will.

Foals! They're all foals.

True, except you don't know that it's actually chocolate. Are you man enough to take the risk?

Abandon4093 said:
Nope. But it's sure going to be a lot nicer when everyones had enough of riding that bandwagon into the ground.
This is you - "Hah! Look at those idiots having a great time on that bandwagon. I'm not riding because it looks stupid and they look stupid and I'm gonna laugh at them when they're done."

This is us - "WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!"

There's a trick to it, first ask this series of questions (if its a guy):
1. Would you consider yourself manly? (I've only ever heard yes to this)
2. Is your idea of manly not restricting yourself from non-manly things, or indulging in that which is considered manly? (If they answer with the first, hand them a piece of paper with the name of the show and where to watch it. Call them out on it if they say no. If they answer with the second, cease questioning as they are not likely to give it a chance ever.)

I never understood why people hate on Bandwagons. You have both a band, and a wagon

OT: I think even the most "hardcore" brony must agree that not everyone will like the show. However, for what it's worth, I think it is good.

Well, my reality isn't that awesome, while you may not be discriminated against for liking My little Pony you'll still get discriminated against for being Muslim, or Homosexual, or for being of French/English descent (by that I mean many English will discriminate against you if you're French and vice-versa) and the place still has a huge problem of teen pregnancy and drugs... And I'm pretty sure the whole people not caring that I like My little Pony thing would be because of my "status" or reputation amongst my peers and by that I mean the reasons I don't get picked on would most likely be a combination of me being known to react quite violently when attacked, and because my "friends" know me mostly for being annoying and making unusual jokes. Or in short, I'm surrounded by dicks but at least they don't dick around with me.

Well we don't really have a "band" per-se, more like a guy with Video and sound editing software who makes remixes...

No this is me - "Stop ruining this forum with your dirty wagon tracks."

This is you - "DEEEERRRRRPPPPP!"
Just out of curiosity, have you been paying attention to who is creating the massive influx of pony threads?

If MLP is "ruining this forum" it is because of people like you who can't get over the fact that people enjoy it that are causing it.
