I can't stand Garrosh. I hate his approach. I hate his forced badassery. I even hate his voice acting. And he killed Cairne... /cry
but still...)
The only thing I like about his Voice Acting is the intro to Twilight Highlands. "Get. Off. My. SHIP" is one of the funnier quotes in WoW.

But yes, Cairne did not deserve to die.
Oh gosh, I forgot about that. When I first heard that, It was about 2 a.m, and I'm pretty sure I woke some people up laughing.

Thrall. This has nothing to do with me loving him in WC3. Or the Lord of the Clans making me understand his past better. Nope!

Neither. Sylvanas is the only leader with the smarts to run the Horde. Thrall's too idealistic, Garrosh is too dumb. Sylvanas managed to hold Lordaeron for 5 years with a population that wasn't replacing itself against Scourge and Alliance. Takes some tactical ability to achieve that goal. The only problem is that the rest of the horde, except the belves, are entirely too bigoted to accept an undead person as their leader.

I prefer Thrall much more. However, I really think Sylvanas is...

I think the real question is, at this point does anyone really care about Warcraft lore any more?

I mean, it's pretty obvious Blizzard doesn't.

Pre-WoW Thrall was a badass

Thrall just has a much better story and a better head on his shoulders than Garrosh. While I like the pride and morale Garrosh brings, he lacks the political skills to end a war in a way other than genocide.

Thrall ftw

I'm Alliance, but I felt that Thrall was a much more noble and more worthy foe than Garrosh is.

...And Jaina is pretty cute.

Where is the "Jaina looks like a French harlot" option?

But in all honesty, Garrosh is a much better WARCHIEF than thrall was. Thrall may have been more understanding, but as someone who plays Orcs, Garrosh is what an Orc should be. Much as I wish Orcs were understanding enough to make nice with the Draenei or Nelfs over the past conflicts, but that can't happen. Ultimately though, I'd have liked to see High Overlord Saurfang be made leader instead, because he seems more level headed but just as war happy... but Garrosh has been doing a decent job being the aggressive conquer the horde needs.

Thrall: Wise and diplomatic
Garrosh: Ruthless, arrogant, and blood-thirsty

Why should there even be an option for Garrosh? He's nearly the biggest screw-up in the series.

Thrall... Because garrosh will do irreparable damage to the orcs political standing with the other races.

I can just see blizzard using this to split the factions into 3.

Trolls hate him
Forsaken hate him
Tauren are starting to hate him

That leaves the goblins, who, probably dont care, they will side with whoever makes them the most money.

I've been playing WoW for almost five years now, so I've spent a lot of my time around the son of Durotan, however I want to know whether or not I am the only one that has fallen victim to the Garrosh bug.

Personally, I find Thrall more of a visionist (Shaman joke). He spent a lot of his time dedicated to forging peace between the Alliance and the Horde, but unfortunately to no avail. Garrosh has a leadership almost completley diametric to Thrall and elects to eradicate any enemy of the Horde.

Whilst through WC3 and WoW I have understood Thrall's ideals, I find myself agreeing more with Garrosh's approach; seeing as the Alliance couldn't even hold peace for three seconds in the Undercity.

So I put it to you. Who do you think made the best Warchief, Thrall or Garrosh?
Thrall, because Garrosh comes from Wow which completely shat over the Warcraft lore and story.

I prefer Thrall, mostly because of his strong ties with Jaina.

Thrall shall always be the warchief in my eyes. Garrosh is a great warrior, but not a leader of anything other than an army...

Lets not start the whole Wrathgate/Battle for the Undercity argument. Simply put; Sylvanas was holding humans for horrific experiments for HER plague that was dropped at the Wrathgate. Varian had every right to be pissed.

I like Thrall, but I prefer Garrosh simply because I don't feel guilty when I murder the shit out of Horde. Thrall wanted peace, but with Garrosh's warmongering dumbassery, I can slaughter greenskins without feeling I've violated anything.

I miss Thrall's unwavering honor and willingness to compromise for the sake of the big picture. Garrosh seems to just be a warmonger.

Thrall led the Horde through a lot of tough shit in Warcraft 3/Frozen Throne.
He deserves it.
Took the words right out of my mouth.

He allied him self with humans, showing the sensibility of sacrificing something for the greater good. He and Jaina made peace to survive while everyone else wants to kill each other. They barely survived the Scourge and Legion when they stood together. They won't survive if they go to war with each other, they won't have enough troops/resources left to take on the scourge or legion.

So to sum it up: Jaina is cute :p

Thrall, peace is the natural answer and i feel more like after having battled side by side in the AQ wars, and Lich King battles the horde and alliance would all just hug it out bro.
