As mentioned before, I find it aggrevating that people constently ask WOMEN to not have sex. Males have a virginity too.

But the biggest reason I think things like sex have changed is partially because women and their freedom has changed. Most women were virgins when they married but many were married before their 20s when their sexuallity kicked in.

Nowadays, many women wait and date to find Mr. Right, but they have emotional, pysical and biological needs that they may need to take care of with someone they are not married to.

I personally feel that what needs to be said is that it's your body, but respect it. Don't have sex for the first time for the sake of having sex. And use the appropriate contraceptives, for both of your sakes.

I'll step off my soapbox now.

(PS, I am a girl IRL and were this man to step onto Canadian soil and I find out about it, he will be fed to my pet huskies)
Don't you think you're overreacting a bit? A Canadian politician has said much worse.

Elniski posted the text of a speech on June 13 that he said he gives to junior high school students at Grade 9 graduation ceremonies.

Part of the posting included advice to girls saying, "Ladies, always smile when you walk into a room, there is nothing a man wants less than a woman scowling because he thinks he is going to get s--t for something and has no idea what."

It continues, "Men are attracted to smiles, so smile, don't give me that 'treated equal' stuff. If you want Equal, it comes in little packages at Starbucks."

While personally I am waiting for marriage, that's my own personal choice. Maybe other women don't want to wait. Let people lose their virginity when they want to.

I already practically do that to any guy who dates my little sister. Yes, I am rather overprotective when it comes to my baby sister.
Yeah, I'm keeping an eye on my sisters already (and the lads they hang out with). They're less unlikely to accept my advice (yet). They don't seem to understand that I know the male psyche a lot better than them.

What a load of bull... completely invalid point.

Lucky me to not live in Australia - but in the single one country besides the vatican which is even more prude.

You can do what you want with your body, just don't kill the baby. That'll be my policy with my kids.

And seriously? with what I've heard from Australia, the government just needs to be eaten by dingos.

not having sex before marriage + typical married sex life = barely having any sex ever

Sadly all forms of entertainment these days are way too eager to fill people in on the fun they're missing.
Seriously this guy's "wait for marriage" advice expired around the same time as the printing press lol.

Haha I love this analogy, and I feel similar.
[sub][sub]This seems like something you would say judging from your previous posts.[/sub][/sub]

Too late Mister Abbott :) Besides, if I want to listen to the ramblings of a Christian person I'd go to my future devout mother-in-law. Just so happens I got lucky though, she doesn't ramble or bible push.

I will answer to this thread by saying this.

Is it good to wait till marrage to have sex: Yes

Is it bad to have sex before marrage: No

It really doesnt matter, as long as you arent way underaged when you rip you V card up and toss it in the fire then your fine...and if you use a condome, no one likes children.

Of course. For me, I just don't trust the guys at the school she attends. I used to go there and most of the guys there were... Well, let's just say I would never want them dating my little sister.

So I did. In fact, sort of sounds like a crazy form of Haiku.
No offence or anything taken, haha, I never really noticed, but you're probably right.

hmm... Fiddle Sticks to Tony.

My body, my life... heck if push comes to shove, i'll get married next week. I dont mind. My nana wants me to make it official (no idea why, thankfully im not intending to just yet lol) so at least i shall have her approval.

Nah, i think its up to people if they want to sleep together before marrige. Some think its more special to wait until the honeymoon... all depends on beliefs.

I find this topic reminds me of a joke.

Woman 1- "Im getting married in a few months to a great guy."
Woman 2- "Oh, have you slept together yet?"
Woman 1- "no, do i need to? we dont think sex is important just yet."
Woman 2- "You need to make sure 'it' fits first so as to know if he's good in bed, a good sex life is a good marrige."
Woman 1- "oh...erm..."
