They have shirts made after me?!?! I'm so flattered.

Anyways, for me its seeing guys who wear super tight clothing. I'm sorry, but that's just wrong.

hearing modern 'musicians' who write these crude or repetetive songs interviewed, as if i couldnt hate the music enough hearing their inability to even string together a sentence, let alone their overbearing self righteousness and conviction that they are making meaningful and important contributions to society!! it just angers me

Any kind of Religion thread on ANY board ANYWHERE.

They move nowhere and always result in name calling both ways... Just stupid.

If you ever become involved in one you should just cut your own throat.

Details: In my home town every one is starting to become fucking skaters. Its a god damned nightmare. Everywhere I look there some one on a skateboard being a dick and running into people. Now granted I know not all people who ride skateboards are like that but there are just so damn many of tghem in my town that I will break into each and everyone of their houses and boil all their children into a delicious stew using the tears of the parents.

Fuck skaters and anyone who travels by board. it doesn't make you look cool and you can't make it interesting. the only one who pulled that off was Marty McFly you stupid jackass wankers.

While I agree that he probably hasn't listened to much rap music I believe he is reffering to mainstream rap like solja boy and that other shit. Some rap song are actually interesting and intelligent however most current and recent releases are an absolute disgrace to music.
I'm this close to saying I love you
You sound really sexy and I can't wait to meet you you poor lonely internet predator.
...Weirdo, I don't want to meet you, just agree with you xD

Indeed.

I would also like to add the trend of hating something because it's cool to hate it.

The following could apply:

- Halo.
- Religion.
- Emo's.
- Skinny Jeans.
- Music you don't like.
- Anything Yahtzee hates.
- Communism, Socialism and Anarchy - Read up on them before criticising.
- Sexuality in the media. It's amazing how often you get people bitching on here about how they use sex to sell products and how 'demeaning' it is then go on about how much they love one-night stands, friends with benefits and the idea of threesomes (Most people in topics won't shut up about how great they are).
---SNIP---
I agree completely I expeccially hate when they go all 'conspiracy theory' on the hate and make up the worst piece of crap to grace mankind and shove their opinion down your throat. One name comes to mind but I'm not gonna say it.

What trends make you want to punch someone
For me, it's Aero, Hollister, or AE t-shirts, skateboard shoes, and beyonce
And maybe how EVERYONE acts like characters in stupid tv shows
Maybe this is because i'm an Anti-Trendie; i listen to punk and metal music, i get most of my clothing from the internet, and Wildboyz is my favorite TV show
The trend I hate is being alternative, I mean there's no sense in being alternative if you only do it to fit into the alto group..

When you have a distinct taste or style it is because you think it's nice, not because it's stuff that's normally overlooked...

I hate the trend of people saying they hate trends, despite the fact that they rarely don't conform to trends.
Like the "goths" or "emos" or "Punks" who all say they hate trends, and yet they talk, dress and act in the same way as each other, sort of like... you know, a trend.
Take away the "all" from that sentence and I agree with you.

Any white person who has ever called themselves "gangster". Seriously.

Edit:Excluding the actual gangsters who had class. Not these rap fags.
Yeah i have to agree, i have *friends* who think they're 'gangster' they dress like they're going to the gym, they talk as though they dropped out of high school, one has an MSc so thats just not true. Real gangsters had style; suits, hats, pocket watches, cool cars... tommy guns, like the men in "public enemy". these days some prick can call himself a gangster because he punched a policemen, who tried to take his weed.

Just about every trend these days. Contemporary fashion, music, gaming tastes, memes (which I will explain below) just make me want to punch people in the face.

Memes are just annoying though. They take something artistic, cultural, inspiring, and just shit all over it. Seriously, just shit pouring onto it until you can't see what was really there because of all the shit. I want to see The Dark Knight, but if I hear 'Why so serious?' one more time I'm going to kill something...maybe a baby...by eating it...okay not really...

Oh, and the 'lol' at the end of every single fucking sentence. FUCK OFF! NOT EVERYTHING IS SO FUNNY YOU LAUGH OUT FUCKING LOUD! Don't even get me started on people who actually say the abreviations...*growls*...

The return to plaid is pretty annoying. I only say this becasue I used to wear plaid a lot in an apparently vain attempt to be different. However I stopped when it became popular again. Come to think of it, the entirety of the seventies seems to be forcing its way back into culture, what with longer hair on boys, plaid, and even slight variations in music seem a bit more retro.

I don't give a shit about trends, I'm a non-conformist just like 92% of the western world :D

But seriously. As you can tell from that pathetic attempt at humour, the trend I hate the most is to hate trends.

Picture the scene. Your going clothes shopping, you see a shirt you REALLY like, but this paticular type of clothing is "trendy" right now. Do you then put the shirt back? NO, NO YOU DO NOT YOU DIRTY LITTLE OXYGEN THEIF, YOU BUY IT!

Every single person in the world conforms to some trend, if you think you are any different, please pund nails into your scrotum.

Like that birthday sex song. Seriously.. he says "birthday sex" over and over in it like a idiotic broken record.
I was intrigued by why someone would make a song like that so I quickly searched it, I can honestly say my "4stam 4strength lever belt" remix I was listening before was better...

I've never been one for trends, I wear skinny jeans but I look good in them

All the features named in your poll add up to the fake idea of 'subgroups'. Hence me voting 'other'. I've never seen somebody who'se completely average in every point of view but specifically wears trendy shoes or clothes.

About 80% of music made during the past 10 years or so.
I'm 17, and I cannot listen to a local 'hit' music station during the daytime without feeling queasy. The music industry has been overrun with the likes of The Black Eyed Peas and Soulja Boy, and countless other 'bands' or 'artists' who only 'sing' about having as much sex as they possibly can and partying 'every day'.

What happened to real music, with substance, the likes of Led Zeppelin, Blue Oyster Cult, Starship, Genesis, R.E.M, Pink Floyd etc?

I must admit though, the remaining 20% of contemporary music is okay. I still listen to the Foo Fighters and Green Day, and a few other contemporary bands I wont name.
It just angers me that so many people can enjoy listening to a so-called 'artist' sing about how he 'supermanned that hoe'... Ugh...

Well i hate both Clothing trends and Music trends these days.

Clothing:The biggest Clothing trend these days is the "retro" look. It's just stupid. It was not cool 30 years ago.And it's not coll now.

Music:All the Techno.Pussy pop and Hip-Hop is just killing.

With techno is the fact that they remix old classic song and make them horrible. And kids these days often think that the remix is the original.

With Pussy Pop(not to be confused with regular pop). It's just women with no talent prancing around half naked like CHEAP sluts and the younger girls around look at them as role models.

Hip-Hop.Don't get me wrong. There is such a thing as good Hip-Hop.But the problem is the fact is that this Hip-Hop that is in is just crap.Immortal Technique is rather good for the fact(i know that the word "fact" has come up a lot of times.just live with it.)that he is not singing about how much better he is then you.(see most mainstream Hip-Hop.)And if you say that singing about someone who was "raised" in the gutter(or as they call it "ghetto").And how they rose to the top is not singing about how much better they are then you.
