When you guys wake up after a great night you cant remember what is your ultimate hangover cure to make you feel better?

Personally a nice piece of toast and some peach juice does the trick for me.

I added to your sensible advise.

But alas, if you have a hangover, you failed to drink enough water. So, start drinking now. A hangover is your body's way of telling you, not that you drunk too much alcohol, but that the alcohol caused you to dehydrate.

So drink water and/or juice. Just don't drink coffee, as the caffeine just dehydrates you some more.

Personally, since I'm a coward who can't stand pain, I tend to take an aspirin as well.

And an omelette with tomatoes and smoked horsemeat is always good.

I heard that a quick jog and water will do the trick. I only know it as theory though, I have never put it into practice.

I will be following this thread INTENTLY. Rough night last night, fun but rough.

I also tried the water thing, didn't work.

I don't drink, so I just like to make loud noises around my hungover friends.

I thought that merely slowed down your getting drunk.
Yeah, but if you drink the same quantity of alcohol, you'll still get drunk

Apparently English mustard covered rollmop herrings are best because they replace exaclty what you lost by drink, but as you can imagine taste fucking terrible

Sleep and bacon. Seriously bacon. Or other meat. Protein and fat works wonders.

Sometimes throwing up helps as well.

I've never had a hangover. I've woken up the next morning still drunk, but I've never had a hangover. Just lucky I guess. Sorry I don't have any advice.

A lot of water, something caffeinated and something full of carbohydrates.

Water, chocolate and dry toast work wonders. (I don't drink, but I'm the guy that goes round providing 'cures' after parties)

I tend not to get bad hangovers, 'cause when I drink I generally stick to straight liquor and spirits, and don't touch beer. But when I do have one, I find greasy food like fried eggs, bacon, etc, do the trick. As well as a nice hot shower.

Best way I find to avoid hangovers is either eat a bit while drinking, or not drink both spirits and beer, stick to one or the other. Though I find I get hungover after beer either way, it's worse when I've been drinking other stuff in addition.

A hangover is just dehydration with delusions of grandeur.

Condition yourself to drink a lot of water before you go to sleep and you will not be bothered again (these days I don't drink as I was getting borderline. But when I did, I only ever had the one hangover). Even if that means placing bottles of water at our bedside and making yourself drink them.

The night I earned the nickname "Vodka Fish" I arrived at breakfast the next day bright-eyed and cheerful because I necked 2 pints of water the night before.

I don't get hangovers, but then again, I don't get totally drunk, just enough.
