Nothing quite as crass as who you voted for as that would probably be illegal, but what actually did you do?

Just as a confirmation: Liberals/Labour/Tories are classed as major parties.

I voted for a major party. It was a sort of tactical vote though, because the party I originally wanted to vote for dont stand a chance in my constituency.

I voted for one of the minor parties, though it is quite fun seeing Ann Widdecombe driving around on her "pope" mobile shouting "Vote Conservative".

I can't legally vote yet but I'm at odds with all the parties in power. I support the BNP's stand on immigration as well as withdrawing from the EU but i'm not overly keen on some of their other policies.

UKIP are very much the same as the BNP for me.

I do not trust labour even though they're the most logical party for me to vote for.

Liberal Democrates in my opinion wont have the strength to pull us from the recession.

I'm not wealthy enough to see Conservatives as an option.

Green party can go take a walk for all I care.

So i'm left pretty in the middle... I would probably use my vote tactically if it were given to me and vote either Liberal Democrate or Conservative as I haven't any faith in a Labour government.

I voted for a major party.
My reasons were for the things they propose to offer.
e.g. Tax break for the UK games industry and a proper review of the stupid Digital Economy Bill.

Seriously if that Bill passes into actual law then it'll be bad for the whole country. I've never pirated anything myself but what's to stop a more tech savvy person hacking and using my wireless internet to download copyrighted material? Getting me perma-banned from the internet, its just wrong and needs a massive overhaul. It's also really bad for wi-fi hot spots /Rant.

I voted Major but only because I will leave the country if one particular party get in. Usually I vote for something small that I actually believe in or the Monster Raving Loony Party because quite frankly if I thought they could win I would always vote for them anyway. I'm all for SOCKS BEING SOLD IN 3's! :D

I voted for a major party because I agree with their policies and because they won my seat by less then 600 votes last time so want to make sure they get in again.

Sadly they arn't on the Ballot in my area. However, they have come up with ideas in the past that have become law such as Pet Passports. Does this mean mainstream politicians are mad, or the madmen are the sanest ones?

I can't vote because i'm under age. I swear though today was hell, I had to tell my misguided friends about the torries since one of them were stating fake facts. Now don't get me wrong I don't think I would ever vote for them but I won't vote for them for the right reasons, not reasons he was making up on the spot.

I spoilt mine as I think choosing between the Conservatives and Labour is like choosing between Tweedle-Dim and Tweedle-Dee.

The other parties simply are not in line with my political beliefs, so I voted for a "None of the above."

tbh i dont really keep up with or care about politics granted im 17 but still, at the end of the day where going to end up hating the guy in power and using them as a nice convienent blame figgur anyway. im not trying to be a downer or anything i just honistly belive we need someone to hate/blame and the more powerfull someone is the more likly they are to become that figure.

A wise man can see logic in madness hehe. I almost think we should fire all politicians and start again. They are all so focussed on power/money they neglect what is best for the country. Which is the opposite purpose of their job; ARGH. I remember when my mum worked at a Hospital a few years ago they were all given a 4% decrease in pay in the same month politicians gave themselves a sizeable increase in pay. Sickening.
The M.R.L.P support you voting even if you don't have a candidate in your area btw :p

Technically I haven't voted yet, but I know who I'm voting for (a major party for the purpose of this poll) and I'm heading to my local polling station as soon as I finish work (so in around 2 hours).

I've waited five bloody years for an election to be called, and if I wake up tomorrow morning still under the boot of Labour opression then I shall be distinctly miffed.
