Our surveys says...if you want a job but can't get one that is unfortunate sir. Believe me, I know how you feel as I have been in the same position. What I was complaining about were the people who are dossers because they don't have to do anything and can get away with murder for an extremely long time. They are the sort of people who wouldn't want to work for their benefits cuz they're having too good a time doing fuck all. If I was unemployed for over a year I would welcome the opportunity to prove my employability by doing something towards getting out of that situation, and in turn differentiate myself from those people.Turrel said:aaronmcc said:All I can say is...if the working for benefits scheme takes off, it will be a good thing. The number of doss cunts round my way is unbelievable. People look at me with disgust cuz I'm out and about during the mid-afternoon. Excuse me? I'm a student, you're a fucking waste of space who has babies so they can go unloved and you can increase your benefit cheque.
like generalisations don't you, has it ever occured to you that someone might be unemployed
because of the hard economic climate? not everyone on jsa is a workshy layabout,
even people who have honour degrees are finding it hard to find work.
proffessional office admin types are feeling the pinch.
more specifically i was talking about some of the people i see round my way every day. I didn't say everyone on the dole is a mooching bastard. what i'm championing is a system where those who care actually get rewarded and those who don't are punished. i'm sorry if you are affected by unemployment and hope that you find work soon if that is the case. it is definitely a soul destroying experience to be highly qualified but never find work. good luck
incidentally i am known amongst my friends for making ridiculous sweeping generalisations in a comedy fashion. but fortunately they are aware that i am taking the piss. this is not one of those cases for the reason stated above
