There should be an "I'm too young to vote" option, or an "I selected this option purely to see the poll results" option.

I support the BNP's stand on immigration as well as withdrawing from the EU
WHAT. THE. FUCK.

How can you support a party wanting to withdraw Britain from the EU? That would basically fuck up our trade system with the rest of Europe. Do you know what the EU is about?

OT: I voted Labour. Gordon's doing an OK job.

I'm only 15 but I wish I could vote.
So many people (not necesarily on the Escapist) are voting for LibDems purely because 'Clegg seems like a nice guy' or 'Cameron is just an Eton toff'. Really? This is why democracy does not work in a world of so many idiots. Totalitariansim would work so much better provided we had a truly patriotic leader.

I think it was less a vote for Clegg as a vote against Banking bonuses & ID cards.

But at least it wasn't for the BNP
Class act.

I'm not British, but if any party besides that Liberal Democrats win, I'll bite my legs off

In 1 year and 1 day, I would change my opinion here and say what was suited to me the best party.

I postal voted which is soooo easy. I don't really know the party policies well enough to choose a political party to vote for so I decided based on who will best represent me.

Although I do want a different voting system. The current one is shameful.

I'm not from UK, so naturally I didn't vote.

However, I'd never vote for their current "major parties".

Especially not Labour. Seriously. From what I've read and heard, they're a bunch of assholes.

What one calls "patriotism" isn't necessarily, you know, representing the people living in the country or their best interests. Very often that can be linked to rather outdated or "strange" concepts.

I mean, Hitler was pretty patriotic. Didn't stop him from blaming everything on jews despite the large number of them being, you know, German.

And if anyone's willing to pass it on Godwin, Fuck you Godwin. Haha.

Now that's what all politics should be like.

I mean, politicians will fuck up and lie anyways, but at least it'll be more entertaining then just spouting sensationalist lies/propaganda at other parties.

Voted for one of the major parties. I take great pride in saying that I didn't vote for the fucking Tories, though.

I believe there is an exception to Godwin's Law that states that if you call Godwin's Law when the reference to Hitler and Nazism is actually relevant to what is being said (and that is true in this case, since Totalitarian Nazi Germany didn't exactly work out now did it, under its patriotic leader - although since he's 15 radical extremes usually seem to be the norm. Paraphrasing here, but Churchill said "Democracy is the worst form of government, apart from all the other ones."), then for calling Godwin's Law incorrectly your argument becomes irrelevant.

It is getting more and more like that, look at Greece. Being England though, politicians are more likely to get an egg thrown at them than a rock.

Cameron got an egg thrown at him when he was campaigning, sending him scrambling for cover. He was then whisked away to avoid a further beating. Frying with rage, he said it was no yoke and we could not afford to make an omelette out of the next election.

I'm under age, but have absolutely no opinion on this due my irritating level of ignorance about this country's political parties.

Yeah, I love Greece. They've got a major fuck-up for the past few years, although it still makes you question whether what we have in our apparent "stability" is actually any better.

Meh, just the inner anarchist speaking.

Good puns, by the way.
