You talk about wit and finesse like you know what you talk about and then you say Doomsday arcade is good? Sorry that just threw me there. *gets up and dusts self up* now excuse me *walks away into sunset*
(I was going to let this slide, but something made me continue in my madness)
I'll try to tie all this in somehow so that it doesn't seem completely off topic, but notice I never did actually call Doomsday Arcade good. I called it a 'solid series'. I'll let it get away with a lot because (a) the shooting style reminds me of Hot Fuzz and (b) I like to see people try to create video game characters on screen that I know hollywood is never going to get around to (or do correctly). Even if the second bit failz, I'll give them points for trying because it does have a bit of charm to it (It's the british-ness-ess of it all, if you must know, and here's the part where I tie it all nicely together), which is a lot more than I can say about Unskippable. I see a real lack of charm in their series, it just feel more like two guys bitching about horrible games, much like this paragraph has been me bitching about two guys bitching about horrible video games that I'm sure were meant to be bitchin'.
But I digress.
I'll say this and then try to leave it alone as best I can; the crossover felt more of a 'Hey, you've got Unskippable in my ZP!' 'No! You got ZP in my Unskippable!', then it felt like a good crossover. I am open to the idea of them doing it again, but I feel that they must give it a lot more effort. I don't think I'm wrong when I say that ZP and Unskippable fans do not always get along well (sometimes they are one in the say, sometimes not). True, you can't please everyone, but a few steps in a good direction would be nice.
