I really liked them both, I thought they worked pretty well together.
Graham and Paul did seem like they had a bit of a job stopping Yahtzee from completely taking over :p, but for me that made the episode.
I'd love to see more of these, especially ones with both of the Un-Skippable guys in :)

I wouldn't mind seeing another.
Very much agreed.

I don't get what a lot of people's hate over Graham's ZP review was over; I actually really liked it.

Yes it wasn't bad, it also shows that it is hard what yahtzee does. plus it was kinda funny to see him run out of steam after about two minutes :)

I don't know, were Unskippable's views up this week? That's what I would use to determine its success.

True, they show how many views threads get so perhaps they should show the number of views as well.
Anyway most people saying it was a success, so I guess that makes it a success

All it did was make me skip two minutes into the video to ignore the Unskippable section. I just don't find Unskippable funny in any way. It's people making comments about videos, if I wanted to watch that I could make comments about them with friends.

It must've been a bit of work, too. I know I'd have been spitting up blood from talking that fast, and I didn't hear any gurgling, which is admirable.

I don't think it was steam he ran out of.
care to elaborate

You talk about wit and finesse like you know what you talk about and then you say Doomsday arcade is good? Sorry that just threw me there. *gets up and dusts self up* now excuse me *walks away into sunset*
(I was going to let this slide, but something made me continue in my madness)

I'll try to tie all this in somehow so that it doesn't seem completely off topic, but notice I never did actually call Doomsday Arcade good. I called it a 'solid series'. I'll let it get away with a lot because (a) the shooting style reminds me of Hot Fuzz and (b) I like to see people try to create video game characters on screen that I know hollywood is never going to get around to (or do correctly). Even if the second bit failz, I'll give them points for trying because it does have a bit of charm to it (It's the british-ness-ess of it all, if you must know, and here's the part where I tie it all nicely together), which is a lot more than I can say about Unskippable. I see a real lack of charm in their series, it just feel more like two guys bitching about horrible games, much like this paragraph has been me bitching about two guys bitching about horrible video games that I'm sure were meant to be bitchin'.

But I digress.
I'll say this and then try to leave it alone as best I can; the crossover felt more of a 'Hey, you've got Unskippable in my ZP!' 'No! You got ZP in my Unskippable!', then it felt like a good crossover. I am open to the idea of them doing it again, but I feel that they must give it a lot more effort. I don't think I'm wrong when I say that ZP and Unskippable fans do not always get along well (sometimes they are one in the say, sometimes not). True, you can't please everyone, but a few steps in a good direction would be nice.

well it has been a week or two since the crosover videos came out, so everyone who is going to watch them will have seen them by now. I think that unskippable(star ocean:last hope) was better than Zero punctuation(halo wars).
It was more comfortable, I mean yahtzee was able to adapt to Graham and Paul's style of sarcastic and take the mic comentary. Especially as it was done on a JRPG one of yahtzee's personal hates.
However when unskippable(sorry I'm not sure which of the two it was) came to review X-blades, he didn't have the same charm that yahtzee has. Though I loved the bearded avatar he made for himself.
So please opinions on the two videos, constructive critism and if you think more crossovers would be welcomed or it worked as a one of but would become tiresome if they kept doing them too often
To answer the question of whether it was a success or not we have to decide what the definition of success is. You seem to be asking if they were enjoyable, succeeding in entertaining. I enjoyed both, so I would say absolutely, but that is a completely subjective opinion everyone will have to decide for themselves.

In terms of what THEY were trying to do, increase the exposure of Unskippable among the escapist viewership that ONLY comes here to watch Yahtzees reviews then LEAVES, I would say ABSOLUTELY!

My friends only watch Zero Punctuation and now they at least know who I'm talking about if I mention Graham from Unskippable. I for one enjoyed Graham on Zero more than Yahtzee on Unskippable, but thats just me :p
