WASD keys due to the fact that I have a trackpad and it feels weird to over stretch my left hand over my right and I only use my right hand for the track pad and hitting delete. Plus, my left hand is really shaky and the trackpad wiggles all over the place because of it.

Arrow keys? ARROW KEYS? I think the only place I ever even touch those is when I'm doing real work in Office.

WASD when the option is available. I need to be able to use my mouse and it feels much more natural.

Yeah, essentially the title.

I'm just used to WASD, so... yeah.

What, you want CONTEXT? Well... TOO BAD! MWAHAAHAHAHAHAAHA!
Both! Play 2 characters at the same time!

What, it works in Gauntlet.

But seriously, I generally prefer WASD because it's easier for me to do that and use the mouse than use the arrow keys and the mouse. If for some weird reason I were to play a game that didn't use a mouse, I might conceivably use the arrow keys. But probably not--there are just too many damn useful keys in easy reach if you use WASD instead of the arrow keys.

neither, none and no.

i have a g13 for this, its a little old now but it still works excellently
i don't have my hands on the keyboard anymore at all, just on my g13 pad and mouse either side of it, and i chat typing is painfully slow.
my keyboard is quite underused these days, mostly for text entry commands are taken up by other devices

Hey look, someone else who has ascended to the ways of EDSF. Awesome :) and also clearly the correct answer.

Been using ESDF ever since I had to switch from arrow keys once I laid my hands on Quake 15 years ago.

Its a hassle to reconfigure controls with every game, but I could never understand why WASD is used instead. You have much better reach for keys with ESDF, 8 extra keys to use and you still can easily reach for Tab, Shift, Ctrl and Caps Lock.
Agreed, ESDF allows me to rest my little finger on the A button which I assign to crouch.

WASD. In my younger years, I did Arrow keys. But I gave that up quickly, and I'm not going back.

WASD of course except maybe for simple driving games or maybe flash games then I might consider using the arrow keys..

Arrow keys. If I have to move my hand off the keyboard for whatever reason, the arrow keys are a lot easier to find than WSAD. I use the numpad, the "home row" and the rightmost keys on the main section (backspace, enter, etc.) as well as my mouse buttons for any required extra functions.

In most cases WASD. My only exception is world of warcraft because there's a shitload of hotkeys you need to play successfully. I hate having to crowd my hands together and the arrow keys are out of the way so I'll just use that and then I have the entire rest of the keyboard for my hotkeys.
