I was on a basketball team and, while I wasn't GREAT I was rather good on defense (I had super long legs and arms and was mainly a rebounder) but couldn't shoot for crap. So one day I'm in the bathroom (I'm like 12 mind you) and this guy comes up to me and says, "Hey, I played against you in basketball the other day. You SUCK!"
Of course, I'm confused, so I go, "OK, sure," and he says, "No, you really SUCK!" and he pushed me into the wall and then left. Even at that young an age I had that look with one eyebrow raised staring at the guy thinking, "He's got some issues."
However, my natural charisma gave me an advantage once. There was this one kid who constantly attacked me and made fun of me, and even the other bullies eventually felt sorry for me because one of them suggested I fight back, and so I did. I unleashed my nerd fury and made the other kid cry. THIS was sixth grade. He never messed with me again, but of course, being nerdy and all, it didn't end all my troubles.
