Its not really a question of "If" but a question of "when."
If you haven't been bullied as a child, you will be as an adult. Its utterly hopeless to try and avoid it when you're surrounded by mankind.

As a child I had bum knees and a love of books. Very easy target so yes, right until my dad gave me some serious advice behind my moms back when I reached age thirteen. He told me to hit the lead bully right in the mouth. So I did, and that ended it.

It might cost you a beating (and a bleeding hand from the bullies teeth) but it really does work and it REALLY is worth it. It's like popping a blister, painful at first and then awesome relief follows.

I went to a y.m.c.a. camp during the summer when my mom went to work. All was fine until it came to swimming. The kids would make fun of me because i was overweight.

I've been bullied my entire life in a way, a lot people have picked on me for the way I look.
It was mainly in my third primary school, these spiteful, spoilt bitches in the year above were always taking the piss out of me. I never so much as told them to f*ck off... or did anything to them really. So I started picking on the kids the year below me. I distinctly remember those two, a fat blonde girl who everyone picked on and a weird nerdy kid two years below me. I regret picking on them but I didn't have anyone else to vent it on...

If I could round up all the people who have bullied me and laughed at me, I can assure you I would show them no mercy...

Was both bully and bullied in elementary school. It was quite the sitation, really.

Last year of elementary, everyone was crazy. Everyone were bullying everyone. We had weekly meetings with the Principal and several parental meetings were called. Ah, the good old times...

Nothing beyond the usual stick that everybody gives everyone else. Give and take y'know.

From about 3-5, 7-13 though that was rare later on as I started to enjoy hitting things and developed a sense of humor, now I still get a bit of shit from the occasional degenerate but being fat for most of my life I have learned to not bother responding anymore, or just wait until they go far enough to justify me beating them with the closest thing at hand.

You have to get over it, people will either get sick of it or you have to make it bad for them to try, I've done both and Ignoring is just easier, but slower.

I got bullied a lot from when I moved into my neighborhood at 5 until I was about 11. Some of the kids in my neighborhood were 5 years older than me. Don't have to tell me how fucked up that is. But that stopped around the time I was in 5th grade.

Children are evil.
Seconded.
Teenagers who are still mentally chilren are the worst.
You nearly played the ageism card. You saved yourself from my lecture about how not every young teeneager is immature and evil with the child mentality comment.

Whats fucked up about bullying with little to me is that all the pain i inflicted as a child i have a very high tolerance for pain i mean a few weeks ago i broke my foot and i honestly thought id cry my fucking eyes out...i didnt even flimch(2 broken bones and even bent right out of place)
I actually deal with broken feet pretty well, too. I broke my left foot by dropping a picnic bench on it and my right one by accidentally kicking my friend in the elbow when we were messing around barefoot. Both times, although it really hurt and I knew something was very wrong, I couldn't help but laugh at how stupid the situation was.

Hey guys first post here (how we all doing?)

I was bullied in primary school year 4, so about 8/9 years old mainly because i was overweight. when i went to secondary school we had a nasty guy in our class always picking on people, one day i stood up to him he tried to attack me that failed :), after that i was left alone, but i have to admit i was pretty nasty to some people especially to one of my best friends now i was horrible to him, and now were the best of friends he truely has supported me over the years and i feel terrible about it thinking what i did.

But don't forget that bullying is not just applied in education but also everyday in life and work (it has been on the news)

I have been bullied several times. I will share 2 of them with you.

Once in Primary School (Elementary for you Americans ^^) There was this one kid, who used to call me names, shove me and hit me on daily basis. I cant remember what made him stop....but the best part is...

He said he was so so sorry. And ended up becoming one of my dearest, closest best friends ever. However he left in year 5 :( His last words to me were "See you around Chris" <-- My Name, (Call me that if ya want ^^). The woprst thig is, I havent spoken, or even seeen him in 5 years now :(

The 2nd incident was last year. I was sat at the back of class working quietly. Then a shoe lands infront of me and I pick it up, My friend says to me "Pass it here, so I can give it back". So I do, and this girl comes over to me and says "YOU STUPID F***ER, THAT WAS MY SHOE YOU F***ING C***. Then she procedes to slap me across the face, I ignore her and keep working, while I am working I am pelted with pencil's rubbers, a protractor, as well as getting comments on my parents, my weight and my glasses.

I ignore it, suprisingly I didnt really give a damn. After a while she comes back over with more verbal abuse. Then My Twin Brother, who was sat next to me says "Piss off, leave my Bro alone". She procedes to PUNCH(!) him in the face and 3 more times on the arm.

So I stand up and calmly walk over to her desk, and punch in the back of her head. She gets and begins to scratch me with her long girly nails.....

in the end she ended up with a BLOODY NOSE, A BUSTED LIP, and she was suspended for a LONG time.

The best part is. I didnt get told off, or anything, I got a nice cup of tea in the office and I got to go home 2 hours early.

I'm ashamed to say, i was the bully at school (at least primary school). I was severely messed up, parents going through messy divorce, i don't remember the details exactly. Teasing people wasn't teasing, back then i thought it was a jovial laugh between friends. I grew out of it though, thank god. I genuinely feel ashamed for how i acted back in those days, i was just misunderstood, i really was. Any questions, i'd be glad to answer, as it seems i'm in the minority here.
