I have been bullied several times. I will share 2 of them with you.

Once in Primary School (Elementary for you Americans ^^) There was this one kid, who used to call me names, shove me and hit me on daily basis. I cant remember what made him stop....but the best part is...

He said he was so so sorry. And ended up becoming one of my dearest, closest best friends ever. However he left in year 5 :( His last words to me were "See you around Chris" <-- My Name, (Call me that if ya want ^^). The woprst thig is, I havent spoken, or even seeen him in 5 years now :(

The 2nd incident was last year. I was sat at the back of class working quietly. Then a shoe lands infront of me and I pick it up, My friend says to me "Pass it here, so I can give it back". So I do, and this girl comes over to me and says "YOU STUPID F***ER, THAT WAS MY SHOE YOU F***ING C***. Then she procedes to slap me across the face, I ignore her and keep working, while I am working I am pelted with pencil's rubbers, a protractor, as well as getting comments on my parents, my weight and my glasses.

I ignore it, suprisingly I didnt really give a damn. After a while she comes back over with more verbal abuse. Then My Twin Brother, who was sat next to me says "Piss off, leave my Bro alone". She procedes to PUNCH(!) him in the face and 3 more times on the arm.

So I stand up and calmly walk over to her desk, and punch in the back of her head. She gets and begins to scratch me with her long girly nails.....

in the end she ended up with a BLOODY NOSE, A BUSTED LIP, and she was suspended for a LONG time.

The best part is. I didnt get told off, or anything, I got a nice cup of tea in the office and I got to go home 2 hours early.
damn...what a *****, really

good job for hitting her!

I used to be bullied by twins. Well, not in a bad way, they are still quite some good, and damn, genius-level friends :)

i kinda went from one to the other when it comes to this, i got dragged into the usual evil-cycle that is, i was bullied when i went in 2-3 grade, then in 7-8 grade when i was much bigger then the rest, i gave back, but i was never a big bully, i had some people i made fun of, which i today am very ashamed of, thankfully i have met most of them now that im older and have given my appoligies for being such a jerk towards them, and a couple of them i've actually developed a friendship with now.

Yeah.

Then I've learned basics of seido karate and the moment someone tried to trip me, I kicked him pretty hard and punched in the face.

No more bullying for me. He. He. He.

That, and I'm pretty bulky (180cm, 87kg), people just don't like to hit someone taller and wider than they are.

my family moved every four years, almost to the day. i was in more schools than i can count on one hand, and i was always the new kid, so i never really had time to make friends. since both my parents worked, i spent almost all my time alone, reading books and eating. needless to say, i was classified as a fat nerd with a weird accent (we lived in three different states across different sections of the country), and i was bullied incessantly.

i recently found out one of the guys who bullied me hellishly in high school went off to college, tried to sell fake marijuana to the wrong people, and got his knees introduced to a baseball bat. he lost his football scholarship and showed up at my front door not too long ago, selling vacuum cleaners. i didn't buy one, but it did my lonely, abused inner child a world of good to watch the asshat vacuum my carpet and kiss my butt for an hour. clean, *****, clean. XD

I was bullied quite a bit in elementary school and jr. high. It's my firm belief that those are when children are at their most evil.

In elementary school I was always kind of outcast and teased, but nothing too serious. This was mostly due to the fact that I was a chubby, passive kid with the social skills of a burning pile of crap. That didn't mean that the verbal abuse didn't hurt and I often went home from school feeling like shit.

Then in jr. high my classmates suddenly seemed to get ten times more vicious. At the school itself thing were alright, but on the bus to and from school I was everyone's favorite target of abuse. Not just verbal this time. I had food and backpacks thrown at me, I was once physically assaulted by a group of boys, and often had to go home sobbing. My mother finally had enough after seeing me come home with a bloody nose and called the school. She proceeded to rip the dumbass principal a new one, and from that point on I was driven to and from school. The school finally checked the damn camera's on the bus and finally saw all the shit that was happening. Everyone on my bus but me was herded into the gym where the principal preceded to scream himself hoarse at them for half an hour and everyone but me and the kids who didn't do anything got a weeks detention and were banned from the bus. I wasn't attacked again, but that's only because everyone knew I wasn't above ratting them out to the principal.

The kicker? I'm a girl and the group who beat the shit out me consisted of guys. Fucking gender equality.

In High School, most of the bullies were idiots who dropped out early on, and I wasn't picked on at all. Looking back with my current personality and aggressive attitude, I can say that if I could go back to that situation with my current level of confidence and physical fitness, those bullies would've gotten their asses handed to them.

When I have kids, I'm not telling them to take the passive approach like I did. I will firmly tell them to stand up for themselves and kick ass if need be. If any teachers have a problem with my son or daughter beating up a bully, they'll have to deal with me.

Years 8, 9, 10 were a nightmare. Physical and verbal abuse on a daily basis, and scathing wit does nothing to help you're broken nose. Most of the arseholes left in year 11, so 6th form was pretty good fun.
I was back at home from university over last summer, and got a job behind a bar for a bit. It was very pleasing to see all the lowlifes who had bullied me are now exactly that: lowlifes. I come from a rural area, and now the majority of them are unemployed or work on their dad's farm.
It's so good to see that they've never left the area, and have made nothing of themselves. Revenge certainly is a dish best served cold.

same about the moving, but my ADHD and possibly border-line insanity help me make friends as the crazy-fun one

Some kid tried to bully me in elementary school, he lived on the same street I did and got off the bus with my sister(6 years) and I(8 years). One time my sister was almost in our house and I was walking up the drive way when the little bastard was aparently going to tackle me from behind(so says my sister I couldnt see him), my sister saw this and threw a rock at his head, hit him with a very satisfying crack. Dude ran home crying, his mom came to complain at us, we told her he had been bullying us and she just smacked him over the head (same spot too) and he never bugged us again. Never had any other bully problems.

Did anyone ever find that a lot of these people were more sociable by themselves? It's almost as if they can't bear to be alone. Or I could be wrong.

I was bullied (both physical and mental) when I first moved out of the city into the country where due to the fact that my beliefs conflicted with the rednecks in my town I became a target of a few bullies. Often though I would end up turning the tables on them as I was quite an aggressive child. There was more than one instance where a bully ended up getting hurt for their actions.

Unfortunately these actions led to several of my teachers even hating me in the rather close knit community I lived in. There was one point where I was forced to see a child psychologist as even my teachers believed that I was actually the one who was causing the problems and were trying to get me removed from their class to be put in the special ed even. They subjected me to an IQ test which determined that I was actually several levels above the norm for my age, after that the teachers started to treat me with the respect that they treated everyone else. What's more the psychological tests confirmed that I was absolutely fine suggesting as I had already pointed out to the adults who refused to see the kids from their communities as bad children, being the real ones who were causing me to fight.

I was beaten by the "Cool" kids, the ones who think highly of themselves. I think it's funny, most of them have a criminal record now!

I picked up weight lifting, Jiu-Jitsu and golf when I was 14. I made fast progress, as I was pretty determined. After going to a tournament in Australia, I found myself the best girlfriend in the world. After inviting her over once for all to see, I never got bullied again.

I am now a 4 handicapper, and I can bench 60 kilo's. I'm 195cm, so I'm broader, taller and a lot more clever then all of them. Offcourse, I met 2 of the bullies in a bar fight later on. I'm not a drinker, but I knew the bouncer there and I asked him whether I could handle the situation. One guy didn't walk straight for almost 6 months. She other guy needed physiotherapy and surgery for more then a year. I was rough. But so were they.

Thing is, I'm actually a very sweet person. I don't hit people, I don't do drugs or alcohol. But seeing those guys after all those years... I lost my temper.

i was more bullied as a teen then a child, as a child, i was top of my gang, but we werent bullies, we were the drama nerds :p

i have a bully story, on how i got a little payback
basically we were in german class, and the bully was going round the class asking stupid questions because the teacher had left the room
you know the things they ask when they're bored "oi, will you go out wi' me mate?"
anyway, i got fed up so i doodled a rude pic on a piece of paper, wrote c**k s*cker underneath it (now you know what the doodle was) and asked someone to pass it to him in 5 mins
anyway, when he got it he got reeeeeeally mad and went round the class asking who it was and looking at peoples handwriting, luckily i wrote it in neat girly handwriting and i write like a spider on crack, so he never found out it was me
aaah, memories ^w^

Sometimes but not always, anybody who hit me I hit them back twice as hard (I could also take small groups). So most people stayed clear of me after that ^^. There are obviously people who piss you off just for their own kicks but I've learned to ignore them now.
