I use MSE.

AVG kept crashing and generally acting weird, so I got rid of it.

I use Norton 360 and it's bloody brilliant. Plenty of viruses have made it to my PC and yet I've never had any problems, because Norton always sorts them out ASAP. The only virus that has ever got past it, for me at least, was that one where it tries to imitate Vista's own security, which I got rid of by simply doing a System Restore back to a point set about an hour before the virus turned up :D.

Windows Security Essentials, never done anything wrong for me... Though it's Windows, only a matter of time.

I must say, the Antivirus 2010 software that appeared on my computer last year had to be my favorite. It would always inform me if a million viruses all decided to attack my computer all at the same time, which apparently happened quite often, and how it would simulate the blue screen of death to make me realize just how bad of a problem my computer had. Unfortunately, I couldn't afford the full version that it would keep telling me to buy every time it did a virus scan, so I had to take it off my computer fully with a metaphorical sledgehammer and my brother who is a computer engineer.

I use common sense 1.0 it works amazingly well in preventing viruses, keyloggers, etc. If more people would try it I think it would really catch on.

You remind me of the people who always ask me to fix their computers. Now why is that?

Heh, that's what I use when everything else fails. Unfortunately it proves to be really time consuming :(
I remember this one time when I checked every byte of my PC just to find a winsys32.lol, and a whysoserious.exe(if I recall right). I still can't understand who come no antivirus found them. But anyway, that's not something I'll be redoing any time soon.

OT: I use Karsperky, because it come as a free supplement to one of my gaming magazines.

Mac. It works really well, actually; I've never gotten a virus. Epic win. :D

Avast! It be the best software out thar, me matey! And it be free!

Seriously, I have a friend who works in IT, he can't recommend Avast enough. I switched from Norton and couldn't be happier. Of course, I also have a linux netbook, so that has nothing on it.
No, they start charging you for the better software eventually. That's what they did to me.

That's when the problem started. They got me to buy something I didn't need, so I've reverted back to McAfee. This AVG seems promising though.

They do? Aw man! What a major letdown. :( Well, I've run both McAfee and Norton now, and I hate both. I'll try some of these others.
