basically just money because the things I really need/want as of now are incredibly specific so I'd rather buy it myself.

I've got my list right here

Super Street Fighter 4
Alan Wake
Borderlands
Rock Band 3
Guitar Hero 5 & 6
Metro 2033
WET
Mass Effect
I've seriously thought about getting Metro 2033, but I'm on the fence. I'm a sucker for all things Russia, but the reviews leave something to be desired. Nevertheless, the game seems to have a cult following, and perhaps I'd be a welcome member. Hmm... <__<

Books. Lots and lots of science fiction books. My reading list is over 100 novels long.
Do you use a site to keep track of all those or do you just write it down? I use Good Reads, because I don't like having to keep track of the paper XD

A new friggin' processor. At the moment I've got a measley 2GHz single core. It's an AMD Athlon 3200+. Also, I'm asking for a Gigabyte Ghost series M8000X Gaming Mouse. Been checking out PC Case Gear for both, and they're pretty cheap. Looking forward to actually having an above average computer next year.

Books, like the Dune collection and continuations of about 3 series' I'm currently reading and the complete collection of Agatha Christie.
Videogames also, I'm hoping to get about 2 or 3 games.

We don't really celebrate it, but as it's my mum's birthday (my mum's Jeebus!) I'll buy her a present.

But even if we would I wouldn't get anything anyway. My parents are like that. All you spoiled little brats in this threat *grumbles to himself*

My parents are awesome this year and letting me ask for a fuckload of stuff. Not sure why, but I'm not exactly complaining:
- Guitar pedal (metal distortion)
- Cable for said pedal
- Guitar strings
- A lot of CDs
- MicroSD chip for my MP3
- Scott Pilgrim on DVD
- Sly Collection
- Birth By Sleep
- Halo Reach

And they said I can still ask for three more games.... I'm a spoiled bastard.
Maybe they secretly won the lottery and didn't tell you.

-------

I'm probably just going to get money and some stocking stuff like batteries and candy.

I'm twenty-five, so the times of long lists of getting things I want has been long over. Besides, everything I want is just too expensive. A sixty dollar 360 game is just too expensive to my family as well, so they just give money and some necessity items, and tell me to do what I want with the money because they don't like buying what they consider toys, for me anymore.

I have three Christmases. One with my Mom, one with my Dad, and my Grandpa's big family get together on my Dad's side. For the big family get together, we first draw out names with wants written on them, at the Thanksgiving get together. The wants have to be 20 dollars or under. Then we have a month to shop for the person we draw out. I always hope this one Aunt of mine draws my name, because she always goes the extra mile and gets the thing I want and something extra that I always like. I believe she has drawn my name for the past two Christmases.

Well, no-one is asking from me what I want, and I'll just get a few presents, but:

I'd really like a hard-cover version of Hobbit, Or There And Back Again. I've lost it (or loaned and haven't got it back).

I've read it a few times already. The first time being eleven years ago when I was, um, eleven.

If not that, then money for a tattoo. Or just plain money.

I only hope I won't get too much clothes this year. I've already bought clothes worth hundreds of euros this year.

My country being conquered by fucking someone. Seriously, other better countries, we're open for business 364 days a year. Just roll over a few soldiers or two, declare this to be your territory and we won't care. In fact, we'll be happy the morons currently in charge run away. Hell, we don't even give a shit if the soldiers are drunk. JUST send someone for FUCKS SAKE.

I was on the fence too. It was on sale on steam recently, so I picked it up.
Hop off that fence and get yourself that game, my friend. I thought it was a great, and highly enjoyable game. The atmosphere particularly was brilliant. Liked it so much I went out and bought the book.

On topic, I asked for a violin for Christmas, woohoo!
