I am for the sake of a decent conversation going assume that the egg is a chicken egg. Once upon a time in a magical land a creature very similar to a chicken but excluded to be a chicken laided an egg. When this egg hatched the creature was a similar to this creature but not included to be this creature so therefore it was a chicken. Then the fairy godmother came and blessed them to become nothing but predestined product to end up in a KFC bucket or diner plate and they all lived happily ever after.

I agree to the pointlessness of this test but in middle school we had this same discussion and someone said god placed the egg on earth and i said, then gods a chicken and like half the class gave me a dirty look. It was pretty funny :-D
