I'm terrible at micro, so I'm going for either a massive tank with uber regens and armour buffs with a decent melee attack, or a standard warrior/damage dealer with good defence, attack speed and damage.
I play as either Dragon Knight, Rogue Knight or Pandaren Brewmaster on DOTA if that means anything to anyone
And I have a sneaking suspicion if I was a healer I would get raged out of the dungeon pretty fast...

The cleric is always the class I play if given the choice.
Clerics jobs are usually demanding and require effort and forward thinking to ensure correct buffs and heals for each member of the party.
If not a cleric i'll mage the enemy to death!

That's a pretty even spread on that poll thar.
I voted Healer, because I like to be the one filling the under-used, but highly important role. That and I like healing people...makes me feel needed.

It's more of a toss up between scout-type class and healer, but if the DPS is absolutely covered I'll take the healer role and focus on that.
I do it from behind, I'm a rouge.
Ranger would be as close but I chose other because I dislike ranged weapons in fantasy settings. Crossbows are pretty bad ass now that I think about it...but I prefer deception and, theft. Stealth, guile and, a dry-cool wit. I'll bed your wife, drink your milk, leave you without anything but a pair of trousers and a son you don't remember conceiving!

I tend to play a mix of long range and close quarters combat, namely damage the target from range and then move in for the close kill. In FPS games this typically manifests itself with a rifle/shotgun combo, in RPG games something along the lines of a Battlemage is more appropriate.

OT: I play as a Paladin more often than not. I'm a decent tank, but I can heal in a pinch (like if the Cleric dies).
