Just about 30 minuites ago, I sent a message to this girl I have liked sense I was in the 5th grade... This message was asking her out. and now, I feel more excitment and Intensity than I have ever felt. Before I was writing this message, I was able to drown out feelings like this very easily with metal music. (Yeah, Metal...) and now nothing works. I feel sick honestly. How could I have done something so dumb??? But, WHAT IF SHE SAYS YES??? I WILL PROBABLY GO INSANE, I HAVE NEVER GONE ON A DATE BEFORE!!! SOMEONE HELP ME! I FEEL LIKE I AM INSANE!
Just chill out, if she says no it's not the end of the world if she does say yes then good on you just be yourself, that's all you can do.

first date is not that hard (if she says yes) just go to dinner and get to know her and take her to the movies simple as that (or do what you think would be fun and enjoyable for both) if she says no then oh well life goes on you'll find other girls

I would have asked her out in person, makes it more personal.

You also need to relax, get yourself a drink. If you're not old enough to drink... well I'm out of ideas, alcohol makes the world a more friendly place.
Ahhh, good ol' liquid courage. If you are a nervous nelly, alcohol is the answer...as long as it's in moderation.

Yes. I still have the scar where her secret boyfriend attacked me with a knife later that day. (we were both 15 and her boyfriend was a 23 yr old college dropout) He's enjoying quality time with a bunch of hairy inmates who rape him on a daily basis. Her name was Miranda, we still e-mail each-other now and then.

Don't get nervous. It's a yes, no or teasing. Hope for a yes, but don't let it eat you. If she says yes, it would be a good idea to go see her as fast as possible.

If she says no, let Uncle RAM cheer you up.

The first time, she asked me out. Which is nice. More girls should try that and take all the pressure off of us. The first time I asked a girl out, it was in person. Nothing beats the elation when they say yes. It is worth asking a girl you like for that reason alone, even if the odds are stacked against you and you will feel a little down if/when she turns you down.

I was just adding to what he said. I wasn't saying that you should drink.

Nothing to flip out over and by the way you should have asked her in person just my opinion though.

Well, since I never asked anyone out, I can't really say yes or no...
So pancakes.

I've heard some pretty shocking stories of first-time askers though. I was there once.
That was one hell of an awkward silence...
