Poll: What do you prefer Face Book or The Escapist?

I like them both for different reasons. I use facebook to mainly plan things with people I know. I use this site to kill time mainly, be it with new videos or browsing people's opinions in the forums.

Facebook, because none of my friends use Escapist. But I definitely use this site more.

Yeah, I pick esapist. Facebook for arranging things, thats all i check it for really.

They're not really the same thing, the escapist is an online magazine, wheras facebook is a social network site.

If I browsed Facebook forums all I'd find is, "YoUUUu FKIN rRrRAcisT ****!!1!!! Uu fKin lyk WHIte choc MORe thAn dARK!!11!" and videos of little immature boys setting fire to their farts.

I start feeling down if I even see someone on facebook. Something about the meaningless small talk and people trying to seem as cool as possible just makes me want to huddle in a corner and listen to happy music.

I would say the Escapist......too many people on facebook I added because they cornered me when I next met with them face to face demanding to know why I hadn't added them. On the flip side, they have hilarious statuses like 'OMG! worstest day EVAR! Couldn't get mah koffe at starbucks cos the power was out :'(((((' Never mind that the half the suburb was shutdown and some guy died cos the ambulance was stuck in a tunnel.....
