How so?
I just am confused as to what you are asking.
Just pick the one who is your favourite of the three. If non of them is in your favourite anywhere just click the handy and fun "THEY ALL SUCK!" option.

Hate them all. Sue me.
(Note: Tellmeimaninja would not actually like to be sued. That was sarcasm. If however, you do choose to sue him, his lawyer is Phoenix Wright. With Mind Control powers. So fuck you.)
Why do you think I included a "THEY ALL SUCK!" option?

I'd like to say Vader or Pyramid Head. Vader because he's just killed so many people and destroyed so many worlds, and Pyramid Head because he's so fucked up and is keen on rape.

Sephiroth is just such a hollow character, he's evil for very little to no reason.

Okay, so I picked Sephiroth. Keep in mind this has NOTHING to do with my avatar, and I'm not an FF7 fanboy (although it IS an awesome game). This has everything to do with the fact that I don't play much survival horror, so have never played Silent Hill, and therefore, can't make a call on Pyramid Head. Darth Vader would have won it for me had they not made Anakin a whiny punk in the prequel trilogy. So, Sephiroth it is. At least he didn't complain about everything before he became psychotic.

Sephiroth and Darth Vader are good choices, but Pyramid head seems a little too specific to the person to really be considered a great villain. And I'm not sure if I would choose Vader or the emperor, the emperor seems more evil but Vader is way more intimidating.

Gotta go with Vader. Despite his whine and cheese phase, I don't really see a lot of motivation for Seph being evil.

Vader wants to control the galaxy and crush any in his path.

Seph wants to travel through space on a planet. (Advent Children)

I said Vader but not the crappy Anakin from the newest movies. It wasn't much of a choice serphiroth is from the most overrated final fantasy of all time and not that good of a character. I never played silent hill but Pyramid head seems more demented than evil. Sadly there was a none of the above option.

Now as far as the best villain I would have to say the taken from The Chronicles of Black Company. From what I have read they are evil but only to there enemies and are deeper than most villains. However I have not read too far in so at the moment they are considered evil but the black company is working for them as mercenaries so they are technically the villain or at least not all of them are.

Vader.
He's the only villain among them where you know who he is without seeing him.

plus, no offense to anyone who likes him... but I thought Sephiroth was a pretty lame villain, and kept wishing he would get better.. but he never rose above "guy who got a really girly haircut and just decided to become evil" status.

Without having even touched any Final Fantasy game I'm going to go out on a limb and say no villain from installment will approach the top of my list. I have yet to play any Silent Hill games but apparently people that have played every one still know very little about this character and he doesn't talk or even have a (visible) face so I'd say at this point he's more of a monster than a villain.

Pyramid Head is disqualified, as he can never ever leave Silent Hill.

So, the real question is...Darth Vader or Sephiroth? My Answer: Sephiroth. Now, it's true that Vader has the force and he has a light saber. Both of those things makes him quite formidable. What he doesn't have is magic. Actual magic powers under his command. Because of that, even Sephiroth before he became evil would be able to defeat him with a casting from his Lightning materia. A good dose of Bolt-3 and Vader's life support systems are out.
Well, if it's lightning we're talking about, remmeber that lightsabers can block force lightning (Obi-Wan did it in Attack of the Clones)
Well, to be fair, force-lightning is the power of the force manifest into lightning. I'm not entirely sure, but I don't believe that makes it an elemental power. So, the real question is...can the force block lightning that isn't made of the force? And if that's the case, then can it also block fire spells, earth spells, ice spells, and probably some kind of Limit Break? I understand where you're coming from, but it IS magic.

How about Lightning Shield (Star Wars: The Force Unleashed (Part of Star Wars Canon)) to block incoming damage. Sure, Vader didn't use it in the game, but that's not to say he couldn't.

I can wrap my head around that happening. What's it's threshold? Can it stand up to the amount of PM Seph probably has? *Chuckles* What if he has Ethers?

You're asking me to choose between an emo who's destroying the world "Because mommy said so", A random monster that is only remembered for some of the game's major scenes and was fanwanked into the new releases + movie, or another emo who knows full well he's being controled, but can't be bothered to fight against it until he's forced to killed his son after killing his mother in a fit of rage...

They're awesome in their own little worlds, but comparing them to other "villains" and you've only got screaming fanboies to save them. None for me thanks.
