Not much really. Oversleeping by 5 minutes and while at school, taking a walk around the school grounds while waiting to go into class.

Depends on the class. If I feel that I can get more out of the class by spending 15 minutes reading my textbook, then it's not worth going to me.

All it takes is something better to do. If I got nothing, class it is. Anything comes up, I'm out.

Well, I might contribute to skewing the poll here, but since I'm a university student I can leave whenever I want to. So: Boredom, I guess.
Back in highschool I barely missed any classes, though. Attendance was mandatory.

Eh, usually sickness, but other times I just have one of those days where I wake up like "I do not want to fucking deal with life right now"

something more interesting than the class. As a result, I missed practically a whole year of college 2 years back :D

All it ever took me was a desire to not attend that class for any number of various reasons.

I skip class a lot. Mainly just because I can't be bothered that day or I haven't done my homework or whatever

If I don't miss anything serious like a test or an exam, I'll find ways to skip and be excused from work too. I once said the reason I skipped a french class was because it was my Grandma's 90th birthday, yet she lives in North Carolina. And they believed me.

I think I've only ever missed school because of a) Sleeping in by accident; b) being very ill; c) my Grand Mothers funeral; d) Not wanting to go.

Generally not unless I'm really sick (physically or mentally) that day.

You might thing that's an excuse, but I can get pretty moody at times... and it's a better idea to punch a hole clean through the ceiling (a paint-made-it-spikey piece of plasterboard with iron wool on top) rather than through somebody's scull. Or so I am told.

The other time I can notably remember, I was pissing blood. That was interesting >.>

Besides our school didn't like us so less than 90% attendance (approved/unapproved) and you were gonna get kicked out V_V. I'm happy I'm not in that hell hole anymore.

depends really, just what I feel like that particular day...
for instance today, I hit the pub last night with a couple of mates till bout 5, but I was back in the classroom at 9 sharp...

on the other hand, monday I had a good night's sleep and just couldn't be bothered so went back to sleep and woke up when everybody was going home again...
