I have legs, I ride a bike.

The only people who drive in New York are morons and outsiders, and there's a significant overlap.
I just remembered a shirt:

Anyways, being a SoCal HS student with no money, I usually drive a late '90's minivan or a 2005 Scion.
Don't mind either, but I really want to get a Ford Fiesta (cheap as hell, and looks good nonetheless)

An '87 Oldsmobile that I only paid around $200 for, when I'm driving between home and school. (3 hour trip)

A bike my dad found in a trash heap in the woods for everything else. (Granted, he fixed it up really well.)

Because style matters to me.

EDIT: Oh! The car's name is Hrothgar, and the bike is Unferth.

I guess buses weren't in the poll because they are a lesser used option in America?
Most cities use some sort of subway/underground/elevated train system. Most people in the suburbs drive. People use buses to commute into cities, but not as a main means of transportation.

I have a '97 Mazda Protege.

I drive this beast:

This baby has power windows, locks, steering, brake booster, rear defrosters, AM/FM/CB radio, cruise control, climate control, adjustable air ride suspension, brake booster, leather seats, tilt and telescoping steering wheel, a 425 cui (7.0L) vertically mounted V8, Front wheel drive 3 speed auto transmission, 4-wheel disc brakes, and all of these things are factory options that all work.

What, no bus option?

Guess it's other for me.
Same here.

Edinburgh has an excellent bus service. When I'm in Glasgow I take the subway instead, because the buses are less awesome. I guess buses weren't in the poll because they are a lesser used option in America?
Whoops, 3 a.m., after work, forgot the bus option.

Actually, in St. Louis, the buses are used quiet often. Of course, like in Glasgow, the train is the more awesome of the two.

I am poor, I ride a bike. I get around well though. In the winter my average speed is about 25km/h depending on the amount of snow, and in the summer I average about 40km/h (different bikes). That being said, my max summer range is about 70km and in the winter it is about 20 depending on the temperature.

Nice... Although having that huuuge 7.0L upfront must be a real ***** on your wallet... Odd that it's front wheel driven though?

My dad used to have a '67 Mustang which was a 5.8 litre an around 350 cui... As awesome as that was I don't think it managed much more than 15-20 miles per gallon (uk)...

looks like I'm one of the few members of the jeep/SUV club on the escapist, as I drive an '08 Toyota Rav4. 4-wheel drive is a necessity where I live, as these winters are just a *****.
