Poll: What has been the best Console Controller (best layout, comfortable, easiest to use etc)

Always been a fan of the PS Duelshock, but i was in dead heat with that and the 360.
As for that list, Nintendo have made some of the crappiest controllers ever. The Gamecube controller looked like it was put together by children, as for the N64 why build a controller with 3 grips when we dont have 3 hands. And i hate the Wii, so that hasnt got a chance.
But i still love the Super Nintendo controller, spent countless hours playing Super Internation Cricket and Donkey Kong 2.

i like the playstation controller but i don't care if it has vibration ,i replace mine every 6 to 8 months cause i grip tightly they wear out and the first ps3 controllers got cod disease ,the left stick sticks and don't try to open a ps3 controller they are a ***** to reassemble

Apart from the D-pad, the 360 wins. The Game Cube controller misses out o the top spot for two reasons; It felt like I was going to break it if I got even a little rough with it, and the face buttons were wierd to use compared to the standard diamond layout.

Until the 360, my vote would have been for the Dual Shock. Now, I'm firmly in the camp of the 360's controller. I don't know who's hand the original xbox controller was desgined for, but they probably crush the heads of children for fun.
I don't get what's so good about Keyboard, I can understand the mouse being Godly though. The keyboard has the most number of buttons, but you can only move in 8 directions and go at 1 speed, that's why they have to use the shift key to switch between walking speed and running speed.
Keyboard+Mouse only excel in FPS and RTS games, but for everything else, a dual anolog controller beats K+M by far.
On topic: I agree that the Gamecube controller is god, but fail to see how the PS controller is shit.

I can't really speak for the others, as I have only played with 360 and original Xbox controllers. The 360 one is damn comfortable, though. I relented from voting, though, as those are the only ones I've used.
