Caps Lock makes me angry. So I Shift. Of course, Shifting can lead my retarded fingers on some rather interesting typos from time to time.

The proper use of Shift is for strafing, of course. Or, sometimes to sprint or activate mouselook. Although I generally prefer strafe, myself.

Oh, you were talking about those OTHER things people use their computers for. Yeah, I don't bother with Caps Lock. I want that fucker to turn off when I take my finger off it. Plus there's only one caps lock key and it's on the wrong side of the keyboard, I almost exclusively use right shift, even for letters that are on the right side of the keyboard. In fact, I only really use left shift for keys I have to hit with my right pinky finger.

I never use my Caps Lock, I always use the Shift key for capitalization. I guess I've just gotten so used to it.

I use it to capitalize letters at the beginning of sentences as well as the capitalize the first letter of proper nouns. It's also good for capitalizing the first letters of some of the words in a title. Like The Escapist or A Series of Unfortunate Events. :D I only use caps-lock for certain things. Like spoiler tags and such.

I used it all the time, why would I use the caps lock when it's much quicker to use shift?

It's also helpful for running/walking.

I am just wondering this cause I am someone that almost neglects his shift key entirely. I only use it for the the signs about the number (!, @,#,$,%,^,&,*,(,)) But do you use it regularly or are you like me and uses caps lock a lot?
??? You use caps lock to do a capital? Like that one at the Start of a Sentence? It Must Get Bloody Annoying To Only Use The Caps Lock To Capitalize Your Sentences, I Doubt That You Can Touch Type That Way...

you shouldn't put in poll options which makes the person think ticking it will make them funny... to be frank i barely read the other options... imagine this poll:

was hitler good?

a) yes
b) no
c) flubadublurbabdab!! monkeys!!!

which answer do you think will get the most responses?

I use it at the start of every sentance or every word that needs it accordingly. Also I use it for sprinting =D

I don't understand how it's easier to toggle caps on and off. But, whatever floats your boat.

THIS

Thank you so fucking much. I hate polls with a passion, because people don't know how to handle them. A poll very rarely should ever have more than two or three options (yes or no almost always work, every now and then a maybe is necessary). Yet people include extra shit because they think they're really clever.

You're not. You're idiots.

I use the CapsUnlock program to turn the near useless CapsLock key into another shift button (with a few differences).

My left pinky finger rests perfectly over the shift key, and when I need to use it, it's usually not even a conscious action. I don't get how someone could regularly use the Caps Lock key, it just seems so awkward and inefficient.
