Poll: What is the Shift key used for?

I mostly use the shift key to run. And I use the control key for ducking.

Ok, some people are saying that if you use the Caps lock key YOU ARE GOING TO LOOK LIKE THIS ALL THE TIME! I doing it right now. I do not look like that and I type over 150 words a minute.

You type faster than the sustained speed of the fastest typist in the world, while doing 50% more keypresses on every capital letter, having to do an occasional caps-letter-caps sequence on one finger, and half of the time doing the sequence on one hand? Mm-kay.

I honestly don't know what you guys/gals use it for... I use it for running...

Yeah, its 'sprint' key in a lot of games and that's the only time I use it except when I'm getting one of those symbols by using shift and then a key.

I never use it for caps because I've grown accustomed to just tapping the capslock key on and off, its a bit cumbersome I suppose, tapping it twice everytime I need to do a capital letter, but it just comes naturally to me so I don't even notice it.

Caps lock requires more pressing if you're using it for capital letters and shift is multi-purpose. I use shift all the time.

Not for me, considering the fact that I stretch my fingers to use the top line of keys, and therefor have to capitalize with my pinky, and its a ***** trying to hold shit down with my pinky for the right amount of time.

I want to point out that I can type 80 words per minute.
