Poll: What is your favorite Studio Ghibli film?

I want to see Spirited Away, but haven't yet. I'd have to go with Princess Mononoke, but I remember very little about the films, since it's been quite some time since I watched them last.

I own 15 studio Ghibli films... I'm Offended ;p

Personally, I can't decide.

It'd be The cat Returns, Princess Monoke, Laputa: Castle in the sky, Nausica of the valley of the winds, Porco Rosso, or even Kiki's delivery service.

Anyway, as a point of reference, here's a list of the ones that have been released so far (in the UK anyway - There's more in Japan)

(This is more or less in chronological order in which the films were originally made - The order of release in the west is somewhat different)

These films involve prominent members of studio Ghibli, but predate the studio itself being formed:

The little Norse Prince
Lupin 3

This one isn't technically studio ghibli either, but it is in essence the first film they did. (the studio formed the year after)

I've only seen Kiki's Delivery Service and Castle in the Sky. Both great movies. However, I'm going to have to go with Castle in the Sky.

Honestly I have only seen parts of castle in the sky. I want to see the others, they look really good.

However I did read Howl's moving castle. One of the oddest books I have ever read, but definitely one of my favorites.
Looking at the plot summary on Wikipedia for the Ghibli version, it is the same as the book until roughly halfway through.

my fave has to be Howl's Moving Castle. I liked Spirited Away and Kiki's Delivery Service, but Howl's Moving Castle is the best, IMO.

Princess Mononoke is my favorite movie (out of all movies I've ever seen,) but I love all of Ghibli's work, and the stuff Miyazaki did prior to Ghibli (e.g. Future Boy Conan and Panda Kopanda) is pretty darn good too.

I love them all really, I'd say Spirited away, Howl's moving castle and Tototro are my favourites.

I've seen all the Ghibli films in this poll and my favorite has to be Princess Mononoke.
