Anybody know a place or company that issues IQ tests, other than the internet? I have taken IQ quizzes on the internet a lot, and with not-too-varying results (usually from 106 to 134), but I was hoping to find a version that I can take at like a local college or something, that are actually cataloged and put on your FBI investigation file.

I decided to ragequit around #24.

Where's the fucking logic?

EDIT: Oh, and as for the real thing, a series of IQ tests administered by a trained psychologist put me at around 140. He never gave me the exact score, but it really seemed to piss him off that my snarky ass scored higher than he apparently did.

It was 115 for me, which is actually lower than my Mensa tested score when I was six years old (that was 135, I believe). Anyway, I'm 18 and male for the record (and slightly drunk, or at least hungover, too, so I'm surprised I scored so high when I'm not completely sober...).

Get in touch with Mensa, I'm a member myself (since the age of six) and they'll happily test your IQ. Officially certified tests too, so it's much better than anything on the internet :) Not sure about the FBI files though, since I'm in the UK...

122. 18, Male, UK.
Seeing as we're all throwing in excuses, I'll include one; It's almost 4am, at the moment. Normally I get 140+, honest...

*Snip*And also, check times on posts.
Hey! That would be your fault for not the screen shot not mine. Besides I corrected right after posting. You must have already been doing the quote thing. Either that or you decided to remove the edit.

Not sure quite what you mean by check times. As if I actually cared that you posted five hours a day, or a month ago.

My IQ came out as just over 4000 as I completed the test in 0.8 seconds, pausing slightly at around 0.5 seconds to adjust the jaunty angle at which I was wearing my hat.

Or it was 137, and none of the above happened.

EDIT - My personal statistics are M / 24 / WALES, I enjoy walking barefoot through barns and vocally humiliating zoo animals.

138, female, 31.

I had to do a halfway educated guess for the last one, and for a couple more before that. Possibly with paper and pencil I could have had enough time to solve them, but laziness...

130, 18, Male.
That was solely pattern based, so I'm not sure how good a measure of IQ it is... The ability to spot patterns and rules is considered an (almost) exclusively human trait of intelligence and aptitude in one area of thinking is usually indicative of general intelligence, so I think that there is some value to the test.
I found the majority of the questions ok or easy, but as has been said there's no way to confirm for sure that you're following the correct pattern. And I had to fudge the last few questions like everyone else :)

To those who say there's no logic in it though: What did you have to rely on when there wasn't any obvious pattern? "This grid seems to follow rule X therefore Y" etc = logic.

Slightly above 110 but I took this at midnight so I'm not operating at maximum efficiency. I'll retake it in the morning.

100, 14, male.

Good enough for me!

Edit: Wow, it seems everyone is somehow excusing themselves, so I might as well... mm... uhh ...
I am ... uhh ... nope, I got nothing, I'm awake, not drunk, ok.

Well this sucks
But I don't really belive that a persons intelligence can be measured in a test anyway.

the last 4 i guessed. but i'm very dubious of most IQ tests. especially one that focuses on pattern recognition, as pattern recognition is only one part of intelligence.
