Can I pick all of them except 'Positive' and 'other'?

Seriously, I'm all for animal rights, but these guys take it to such a ridiculous extreme they give the whole animal rights movement a bad name.
Essentially this.

Guilt tripping, scaring and insulting people to take your side is really, really not the way to go if you want to earn respect and have being join your cause, but that is exactly what PETA is doing.
It just feels like they're hating everyone that isn't in their fucking cult... they sort of remind me of the Westboro Baptist Church.

Having said that, I am also all for animal rights, I want my meat to've lived a decent life before getting server on my plate. But I'll still eat it.

Plus it makes it taste better- steak from a meat farm is inedible compared to that pricey organic free range stuff.

It's fine to stick up for animals. I think animal cruelty is a bad thing. I think it should stop.

Anyone who claims that an animal should be considered equal to a human however has missed something. And anyone who persecutes people in order to make sure a cow is happy is a bloody moron (the latter not specifically directed at PeTA, more a general comment).

And sorry if you disagree, but meat is damn tasty.
i do enjoy meat. plus, we use the whole cow, and then they(peta) euthanize animals, and throw them in a ditch! that's just damn right disrespectful! then they have the nerve to call us inhumane?!

I think they're a bunch of stuck up, stupid, ignorant, ego-tistical eco-terrorists who wouldn't know common sense if you smacked them with a nine iron. I'm all for animals being treated fairly, but I don't see anything wrong with eating them, keeping them as pets or using them as beasts of burden, so long as they are kept well and not mistreated.
I couldn't have put it better myself. Like you, I also would like to see animals treated fairly, but PETA simply do not do themselves or their cause any favours by acting like a spoilt brats.

I think in general they're real world strawmen with no real idea about what they're doing and cause more damage to animals than good. Mostly misguided, but with some real malevolence behind some of their acts, I think they're given a free pass from other borderline anarchist/terrorist/whateverist groups because their cause is 'noble' somehow.

Also, i think fundamentally that they're wrong. If it cost me the extinction of an entire species to see AIDS wiped out I would do it in a heartbeat. Protecting Pandas, a species so stupid they can't even figure out how to mate with each other, is not the way to show you love animals. Species die out, they go extinct it is the way of the world and anyone trying to change it is ill-educated and misinformed.

And another thing, why the fuck does everyone spell it PeTA? It's the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals. The 'E' should be fucking capitalised! If the word it represents in the acronym is capitalised, then the letter itself is capitalised. It is either PftEToA or PETA. And yes, I know that PeTA have it as a lower case e but they are just as sorely misinformed about linguistics as everyone else.

Jesus.

Hey! I happen to be a member of PETA, and I take offense to your comments!

i think you're confusing "people for ethical treatment of animals" for your membership of "people eating tasty animals"...
...I am 100% positive that he meant it as a joke

OT: The only thing they do is hurt their own cause, hell they defy their own cause daily, they kill more animals than they save, they are slowly degrading into a group as hated as the WBC

Alongside Scientology and the Westboro Baptist Cunts, Peta completes the Terrfying Trio, groups of idiocy who exist solely for making me lose faith in humanity even more than I already have.

Having naked women holding signs does not make me want to become a vegetarian. It makes me want to have sex with women. These aren't even close to the same thing. There's a joke about "my meat" in here, but I'm far too high brow for that.
"I bet they'd love to eat my meat"? "I'd make them reconsider their vegetarianism"? "I'd Show them my Meat and Two veg"?
I love being low brow.
"Want some sausage with that rump roast?"
"im not sure how hot dogs, meat balls, and fish taste together, I'll bet your willing to find out!"
Im ashamed of this one but:
I would go vegan but cat is tasty. (I'll go sit in a corner now)

A pathetic excuse for an organization. Animals have no rights; I'll eat the damn thing when I'm hungry and I'll put it down if it gets too troublesome. There, I said it.

Yea it is nigh impossible to detect sarcasm in text without some sort of font change

Don't worry, they already do that for you, I think they kill something around 85% of the animals they "save"

I hate PETA like I hate all fanatical groups, they're just wankers joining an extreme wankers club. Like those protesters who complain about Capitalism. Or the environment.

Wankers!

They have the right idea in trying to get animals involved with human lives treated with some measure of decency. People who own and care for animals are expected to provide food, water, and shelter even if that's all they do with the animal/s, and that's a good thing for PETA to stand behind. The problem is that PETA has taken things to bigger extremes over the years.

Lately it seems as if the mainstream PETA group is putting the lives of animals, even pests, over humans to the point that they caused a fuss at Obama swatting a fly on TV. Who really cares about gently capturing houseflies when they're buzzing around your face and walking all over your food? They're called pests for a reason FFS!

*sighs* If PETA would just tone things down and focus on actually important things, like preserving the rainforests, protecting endangered animals from hunting, and rehabilitating animals they'd probably get much more respect.

I wanted to pick all of them, except the top option. They treat animals better than humans, they deserve no respect.

Other - Bat████ insane. And not in a good way.

How can they improve? Disbanding would be a good start...

PETA is a rather crazy organization. They seem to have vaguely admirable ideals and extremely insane and moronic policies.
