Anyway, since when did being asexual (or demisexual, whatever people are saying) start being the cool thing? I thought the cool thing was to be bi.

Gay male here. I am impressed with how accepting and cool most of the users here seem to be in regard to any individuals' sexual orientation. I have to say I do find myself a little disappointed that this poll is reinforcing a binary gender system though. Other than that, agreeing with above poster on the missing "Female-Questioning" issue. Whats up?

What do you mean by binary gender? I mean...you kind of have to be male or female. I don't think we have any asexual humans, although that was the villain in a Dean Kootnz novel once. I guess with hermaphrodites you could technically say there's a third but I thought usually only one of thier dangly parts worked in the first place.peripatetic_n said:

Yeah but like I said, Hermaphrodites usually only work in one part or the other, right? They're usually still male or female, but just with the wrong parts, isn't that how it goes? And transsexuals are still, physically, one sex or the other. As for the poll it's interesting to see how women are outnumbered in every area
Looks like the straight Ladies of the escapist have the most options (St8 men + Bi-men = 80%) available to them
