Battlefield: 2142 actually, using an A-8 Tiger to counter-snipe someone from 150 metres brings a whole new definition to the term 'BOOM Headshot'.

I actually like playing support, not many others do so people are always welcome in that role, you don't have to be that great which i'm not, it emphasizes teamwork and after the rushers get killed you can go for some safe offence. Prolly my AA roots showing since when you die in that you have to wait so it encourages that type of play.

If not playing support I play the lone sniper, i'm pretty average at that tho.

Support, as in healing, covering fire or buffs. It is USUALLY an appreciated role and having someone score a kill while amped by me is just as satisfying as if I did it myself. Plus I'm increasing net enjoyment for one of my teamies. Frontliner would be second choice- I rarely do well as fragile classes.

I'm rubbish with snipers so I tend to stick with close/mid ranged weapons.

Pretty much this. In FPS I am more of a sniper but in MMO's as a tank especially in Warhammer Online I'm the dickhead who wades through your whole team taking your DPS with my Pockethealer only to slaughter your teams healers before finally succumbing to the horrendous amount of Damage Output being done to me.

In fps games im a mix between the sniper and the suicidal rusher. In 3rd person games im a mix between a frontliner and a suicidal rusher.

I said frontliner, but it really depends on the game. In Halo or COD I'm usually a mid ranger and use assault rifles but for Far Cry 2 I'm planning to go all sniper rifles and remote bombs.
