Is it the "Bad Boy Douche Bag" or is it the "Bad Boy, really Good Inside" schtick? I mean, I play a lot of hockey, and there's a lot of guys who are total asses, until you get them onto something else and they're sweethearts. Sure they've got their 'Grr Arr Get drunk with the buddies and watch odd comedies' sides, but they're also great to kids, think at least some things through and know how to keep a steady job. They might swear like a trucker with seventeen flat tires, and a deadline they're late for, but they'd also help you move, and order pizza for an entire audition room of actors just in case someone's hungry. Priorities, and all that ya know?

I mean, I've got high standards, but I wouldn't want a guy who finds so little value in me, when I would find more in him, you know? There has to be a balance. I also know a lot of guys who MEET my standards. Very few are single, but that's beside the point. Knowing they're out there is just icing on the cake.

I hope girls have more faith in themselves to see the difference between 'Bad Boy Egotist' and 'Bad Boy, Nice Inside'.

You do realise "Bad boy, nice inside" is Bad Boy, pretending to be nice to get laid right?

Besides, all the douchebags I know are going out with girls and all the genuinely nice people I know are single, hell, even the girl who likes me (doesn't know I'm gay) only does because I'm "hot" (in her words).

Personally, my vote is for 'something else'. I got lucky enough to find a guy who games (PC, console, and tabletop), but is also a tech nerd, romantic and sweet, and cute to boot.

You say that like men are the only ones who can fall for women, which I have to admit I find kind of offensive at worst and pretty misinformed at best.

It's good to see some Stephen Fry love up in here. I don't care if he's gay and more than 30 years older than me. I want to be his wife. A proper, traditional, honey-I'm-home kind of housewife. And he's the only man I'd ever say that about.

God, how I adore Stephen Fry.

Other than that, it varies. I tend to go for guys with skinny, lean bodies. Slight nerdiness is a definite turn-on: I love a guy in glasses. I like long hair (although only on other people) and I like a guy that understands my reclusive tendencies. But really, intelligence is the only absolute necessity.
