Poll: What music do you associate yourself with?

For the last while, I've been thinking about what the average hardcore gamer listens to/associates themselves with, (I'm a Hard Rock/Screamo kinda guy) What about you?

Symphonic Metal is my favorite genre, though I listen to a wide range, from classical, to Jpop, to elctronica, and the like.

I'm an early 90's Grunge fan myself... though I listen to just about everything...

My tastes are a tad eclectic, but tend to associate myself with power metal, most often. The rest of the time, it's J-Pop.

You forgot the poll, by the way, not that there aren't so many genres of music as to make one kinda pointless.

Mainly Alternative Hard Rock (grunge, etc) and 70s Rock (David Bowie). But I listen to most genres.

Grunge, Hard rock, rock, metal,heavy metal, power metal, thrash metal, alternative metal and rock, some punk, oh and nu metal. no scremo/death metal here though, i prefer actual singing. though not all death metal is screamo, most of what ive heard is.

19th-century Romantic Period, primarily operatic overtures and shorter orchestral pieces. Though I do appreciate the entirety of Beethoven's 9th. Sometimes. When I have the time to listen to it all.

I don't associate myself to any genre of music, really. I listen to far too many bands and genres to nail it down to one.

I have got a small reputation as a J-Pop fan around here though. I even made a thread about it ages ago, actually.
