Hypocracy, the media will slander someone to their wits end, but the moment that person dies or gets cancer or shome shit they are instantly saints and every media outlet loves them.

Nothing offends me. But what annoys me the most is this forced political correctness. But there some things wrong with the media, not just that.

Other.

Ignorance (especially when journalists don't do their research), bias, alarmism, people taking Al Gore seriously and Hollywood's reliance on style over substance.

Yeah, like Michael Jackson. He may have held a baby upside down out a window at one point, but once he dies, he's Jesus.

The closest to offending me anything comes is certain stereotypes and demonizing, like how video games are teh evilz and pretty much any news story about supposed teenage activities, or teens themselves, ever (as far as the news is concerned, teens will do drugs and have unprotected sex and generally take a tight hold of the idiot ball). Apparently we come up with some new way to be absurdly decadent and stupid or get high every few months (remember rainbow parties? Oprah, you have proven a long time ago you're full of crap).

It's not really offense, though, it's just annoyance.

Yeah, but it happens to lots of celebrities. My philosophy is that if you're an asshole in life then as far as I'm concerned you're probably one in death too.

watching today's media, especially American, is like watching an ADD kids' interpretation of the news
Have you ever watched MSNBC?
They're pretty good, but as far as I'm concerned the best news sources are The Daily Show and The Colbert Report.

The journalist who make up sh*t just to get their f*cking soundbite or who keep asking stupid question.Ex- Journalist"So how did you feel about being kidnapped?" or my Favorite, Journalist"How do you feel about your father's death?"
Also hate "fearnews"-Ex:Tune in at 10p.m. to find out what could be in your closet slowly killing you, and you might be wearing it."or"Find out if your children are actually safe, tonight at 11."

Its actually quite hard for the media to offend me other than racism. Unless there's hypocrisy in this. Might as well turn the T.V off.

I tend to get annoyed by overdone left wing propaganda with no opposing viewpoint being effectively expressed, and the implication that EVERYONE thinks that way.

Sometimes it doesn't bother me, sometimes it does. Depends on the exact situation. I'm one of those who thinks we need more balance in the media.

Nothing pisses me off more then things getting more media coverage then they need. Some things aren't worth 24 hour news for a month.

Nothing against the King of Pop, but I am sick of hearing about him for three straight hours, then seeing them take two seconds out to tell us something happened in Iran, then back to Michael Jackson.

I hate the media outlets that point fingers at video games for child corruption, and have biased news segments with middle aged women who have not done their research screaming about how the reason Lil' Timmy died at the hands of a sociopathic teenager was because Ted McPsychopath had Grand Theft Auto tucked away somewhere in his collection of porn magazines and AK-47s. I also hate how these people are presented as blameless victims.

As I always say, the only thing worse than an ignorant, loudmouth blowhard who has absolutely no idea what he or she is talking about, is an ignorant loudmouth blowhard who has absolutely no idea what he or she is talking about, who rationalizes their argument by "doing it for the children".
