Two weeks ago, we'd still be calling MJ 'wacko Jacko', but it seems like he's in line to be canonized these days.

If everyone thinks so highly of him, why didn't we all celebrate his genius while he was still alive?

The sensationalism of English newspapers. I wouldn't say it offends me exactly, but the people making the newspapers seem well aware that they are peddling a dying medium...so they have to defy all logic and good taste just to get people interested.

I live in England so my experience of fox news is limited to what I have seen on youtube and clips that are shown on tv whenever a show opts for an easy laugh...although the reality of it is more cringeworthy.

Ignorance (especially when journalists don't do their research), bias, alarmism, people taking Al Gore seriously and Hollywood's reliance on style over substance.

Hypocracy, the media will slander someone to their wits end, but the moment that person dies or gets cancer or shome shit they are instantly saints and every media outlet loves them.

Yeah, like Michael Jackson. He may have held a baby upside down out a window at one point, but once he dies, he's Jesus.

Fuck's sake you can apply that to every dead celebrity in the world.

The only time it is reasonable to be offended is at a personal insult.

I'd even go so far as to include the modifier "from someone that actually matters", but that creates shades of gray I'd rather avoid.
