I'm a sleepist/don't give a damn group. I am in true happiness when unconscious. Knock me out when awake.

I am an animist in a loose sense of the term. I don't really have any religion that I readily adhere to the beliefs of. I revere, write publications on and iconize dragons, if that's religious I guess my religion involves dragons somehow.

Atheism ins't a religion
It's a belief system, which could be otherwise called...a religion!
A religion doesn't need a god. It's the act of believing.

Theistic Satanism is when you think of Satan as a diety that is to be worshipped, Atheistic is you don't worship Satan you just believe in the ideals i.e. Church of Satan, and you believe you are your own god.

Atheism is lack of belief in god.
That's agnosticism.

Atheism is belief in the non-existence of God. Note the difference.
Your statement is false.
No, yours is. :p

I realise that "lack of belief in God" is not a complete definition of agnosticism, but it is a partial one.

Agnostic
1: a person who holds the view that any ultimate reality (as God) is unknown and probably unknowable. One who is not committed to believing in either the existence or the nonexistence of God or a god
2: a person unwilling to commit to an opinion about something

Both religious people and atheists can be agnostics at the same time.
You just said:

Agnostic: not committed to either the existence or non-existence of god(s).
Religious: committed to the existence of god(s).*
Atheist: committed to the non-existence of god(s).*

And you go on to say that agnosticism is compatible with religion and atheism. Total contradiction.

* actually these are my definitions, but I will laugh if you disagree with them.

It's not a belief system, it's a single belief. Since when could one belief be a system? Also, according to dic.com http://dictionary.reference.com/dic?q=religion religion has to be more than one belief.

Why is there no distinction between agnostic and atheist? There's a pretty big difference. Also, from an a/anti/nontheistic point of view, how about the secular movements? Positivism, humanism, etc?
Those aren't religions.

Did not say anything of the sort. And you better start laughing :)

"Lack of belief in god" is not in the definition of agnosticism.

Agnostic: Thinks god(s) can't be proven or disproven.
Religious: Thinks god(s) exist.
Athest: Thinks god(s) doesn't exist.

Agnostic theist: god(s) can't be proven or desproven, but I think it exists.
Agnostic athesit: god(s) can't be proven or desproven, but I think it doesn't.
Or are you saying these stances are impossible?
I don't see the contradiction.

well in a twist, Jedi in a generic term could fall under Mahāyāna Buddhism, as thats what influenced and was the structure for the Jedi in Georges mind...

I'm of the Soto school of Zen Buddhism ( Shikantaza Zazen ) which is a Mahāyāna branch.... if you gave us lightsabers, and the ability to control the natural flow of life in ways a jedi can....then well...you pretty much have Jedi

XD

Ah, you changed the definition.

Anyway I'm done arguing semantics. It doesn't go anywhere.

you must admit that if someone asked you your religion, telling them you're an athiest would answer that question... :p
No, if someone asked me what was my religion, I would say that I am not a part of any.
I would say that I'm an atheist if someone asked me if I believed in a god.
While I agree that atheism is a position on the existence of a supreme being, a religion it is not.
I wasn't supposing what you would say, I was saying if someone said that answer people would think it was a perfectly acceptable answer to that question.
