Poll: What shooting game do you think has the best community?

My favorite genre in gaming is RPG, but I just love games where you work together and blow things up. Of course, games like TF2 or L4D2 makes you feel all fuzzy and nice when either win or beat Dark Carnival on expert (yeah like that's going to happen). On the other hand, there are games where people are screaming at you because you were either "hard sniping" or using the "noob-tube".

I'm just looking for games where people don't actually scream at me for not being able to kill five guys in the last 30 seconds.

Darn, I don't have any friends that play with L4D. Sometimes you run into nice guys, sometimes you run into idiots. Most of the time both.

Obviousley the third blank shooter has the best community, they all love each other and live in peace and harmony among each other.

OT: I actually do not know which game has the best community, they all have their douches and they all have cool people. Some just have more vocal douches.

I've had relatively good experience with the L4D community. All though, I've only got the Xbox Live community to live with, so it's kinda hard to fall off the floor.

Team Fortress 2 has a really good one, even on the 360 (comparatively).

Also: Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory had the best community out of any gave I have ever played in my entire life. But I don't know if that qualifies as a shooter by the thread standards.

There's not many. Most games with massive multiplayers are usually very popular franchises, and with that comes annoying, stupid people.

If you were to find a multiplayer with a good community, it'll probably be a smaller game that doesn't have a massive pool of players.

I can't think of any games with good online communities, but then again, I don't play multiplayer that often.

I don't know. You get some dicks on CS:S + TF2, and pretty much anyone who speaks on xbox live makes me want to instantly mute. Perhaps CS:S is, you get some good clan servers on there and when you become a regular it's pretty good.

Believe it or not the Halo Community is pretty damn good. If you bother to search for a good one not filled with 13 year old twats.

For some odd reason, almost anything made by valve has a really good community. Some of my favorite gaming moments have been while playing L4D 1 & 2 with complete strangers.

The community of Borderlands was pretty darn good. All the other games I've played have had significant amounts of hackers and exploiters.

Believe it or not the Halo Community is pretty damn good. If you bother to search for a good one not filled with 13 year old twats.

While there are small niches of goodness in the Halo community, it's mostly filled with complete twats (as is the xbox live community as a whole).

I do believe CoDMW2 has the most severe cast. House couldn't cure it.

On topic. Both the Left 4 Dead and L4D 2 communities are pretty great on PC, I've made of loads of friends in those games and have yet to find a match with a disruptive player

Depends on the server.

The servers I frequent on PC TF2 (the only good TF2, bwahaha updates) have great community.

Can't say much about all the thousands of those I haven't and won't ever visit.
