Both have their ups and downs, both have socialital pressures and have a "certain way" to look and act. No one gender has it harder or easier, yes most "men" wrong women but most "women" wrong men.

Silliness. You can analyze and understand via observation and reason.
________
You can think you know how it feels to give birth (or get kicked in the crotch) because you watched it on a video multiple times but you don't know how it feels until you experience it.

God, I feel like a broken record here. You are aware of how pregnancy works, yes? You do know that one doesn't just spontaneously become pregnant? That one has to engage in something first? As for the menstruation thing, I'm not going to argue that it probably sucks, but seriously, get kicked in the balls HARD some time. As I've said, there is pretty much a mirror/mirror counterpart for everything biological:

Pregnancy - Hernias
Menstruation - Kicked in the balls
Ovarian cancer - Prostate cancer
Breast cancer - Breast cancer

I'm not gonna sit here and list off everything I can think of, but there you are.

It sucks more to be a man. "What about periods?" you may ask. That is precisely why being a man sucks. Girls deal with being in a bad mood. We deal ith being bitched at over nothing.

Between things related to reproduction and child-bearing, I think us males have it way better.

This thread is pretty damn stupid. "Which sucks more?" That would imply that both suck. I can safely attest that being a dude is quite awesome.
Agreed wholeheartedly. *stroked beard* Yeah...

Tough call.

I tend to lead more towards men, given the fact there's all sorts of neat inventions to alleviate period issues(or outright prevent them), and I've seen so many women given the world just because they have a vagina.

Perhaps if men weren't so predisposed to give women anything they wanted, and some forms of birth control flat out replacing periods with occasional minor bleeding, I'd consider the other side, but I've got to say I don't buy it for a second.

Being a woman is far more awesome than being a man. I mean, multiple orgasms alone make my life way cooler than any man I've ever met.

But society sort of sucks for women, so there's that. Also, there are some unpleasant biological prices to pay.

So... I'm gonna go with equal suckage for both.

Women have to deal with the social pressure of being beautiful, demure, and submissive.
Men have to deal with the social pressure of being tough.

Winner here: Women. Women by a long shot.

Women have to deal with guys coming up to them and hitting on them, a lot of the time it could be pushy guys who are much bigger than them and therefore intimidating.
Men have to deal with getting shot down by women when they are trying to "pick up."

Winner here: Women gets it here. Without a doubt.

Women have to deal with being depressed that they aren't beautiful enough, or boys never talk to them.
Men have to worry about the "girl-of-their dreams" not liking them, which let me tell you, really sucks.

Winner here: I'm gonna say women by a hairs-breadth here. Most of the time you will eventually get over that girl, but it is much harder for women to get over being "not pretty enough."

Women BLEED FROM THEIR LADY PARTS like clockwork every month or so.
Men occasionally get kicked in the balls, or get their shaft caught in their fly.

Winner here: Women. Guys, imagine a kick to the balls, stretched out over three days. I am told that is what a period is like.

Women falling in love is complicated and doesn't happen often.
Men can fall in love on sight.

Winner here: Men. More love towards people you barely know means more disappointment unless you're Casa Nova.

Women have to worry about walking home at night.
So do men, but not nearly as much.

Winner here: What do you think?

To be honest, I truly do think women have it much worse. Despite what the law says, women are often seen as second-class citizens by men in positions of power, or even men who are below them.
I've seen so much sexism towards women that it's actually starting to roll of them, to the point where they just go along with it. Ladies, if you are reading this, when you notice a guy belittling you for no better reason than "you're a girl," do what I do and throw them in front of a god damn train.

EDIT: I know a lot of people will say that girls get special treatment, but that special treatment is a double edged sword, because the minute a guy starts giving girls special treatment is the minute he stops thinking of girls as people.

First id like to say that i am not trying to be sexist. This is why i like to be a man. One i have a penis, two i dont have to give childbirth, three i dont have a montly period. I can barely stand it when my girlfriend does. 4 im the one that gets to ask out the girl not wait. 5, i can piss standing up, 6 we have more historical freedom. thats off the top of my head.

I read somehwere that their periods attract bears. The bears can smell the menstruation.

Pretty much the entire reason why I'm glad to be a guy. Seriously tho, good on ya girls, you have to put up with a lottle shit. Periods, child birth, instances of sexism and abuse are generally higher for women in the workplace than for men, you gotta wear those stupid little shoes that fuck up your toes, the list goes on.

I don't have to know how it feels to be treated unfairly by society to know that it's happening. Please remember context when posting, with thanks in advance.

You make good points, other then this one. Pretty much every study done shows that males and females with the same qualifications and experiance make the same amounts in the same jobs.

The reason there are fewer females in higher paying jobs is because many of them take time off to have kids, then come back on a reduced schedule for up to a decade while they raise them. Most men take a few weeks off when the kids are born then go back to working full time.

It's not sexist, it's just how it is. Men who take a few years off are just as much behind.
Duly noted.

well heres an argument VIDEO GAMES are still targeted with horny 14 year old males in mind

anyway even though weve come a long way there are still double standards and social preasures on young grils particually to be all "girly" and sexualy attractive

and the whole child raising thing messes with your career

I dont think its really AS acceptible for a woman to say "nope Im not having kids" just because she can, anyone disagree?

Childbirth is more of a choice most times than say.. accidentally sitting on your genitalia. I wouldn't say it has extreme validity in this arguement if we're debating in respects to the nature of the gender; many women do not and will not go through the experience at all. (I mean no disrespect or offense to mothers, just pointing out how pregnancy is not something that happens by itself).

While as a female I can't claim to know which side of the coin is better off, I sure love the idea of not having to give a damn about how crazy my hair is when I wake up, or getting cramps during the middle of a day because my 'internal clock' was off.

I do feel for you though guys, having a 'mini-me' with a mind of its' own seems to be quite awkward at the best of times.

I'd love to switch genders for a day, but either way I'm pretty comfortable with myself right now.

You need a "I don't know" option. I didn't vote because I honestly don't know. It's hard to compare when one does not have experience on both sides. Also, people's experiences as a man or woman can vary by individual and culture. Some cultures treat women well while others put a higher degree of stigma on them. The same could be said of men.
