I thought after a while it all looked the same. The missions were too similar, too realistic, not enough customization, it lacked immersion, I'll sum up by saying everything Saint's Row 2 is that GTA 4 isn't.
That's pretty much how I feel about it. But hey, at least we got SR2 so it's not all bad.
San Andreas is probably one of my favorite games of all time and while I wasn't expecting the huge environment or nearly as much content as there was in that game (I imagine most of the work was done getting the whole thing to function), I was expecting as much as GTA3.
For the Poll I chose "Missing the Tank" but I think OP should've just made that "Missing...." because there was a whole lot missing from the game: Yes the tank, but also Rampage missions, R3 missions (and the in-game rewards for the couple they did include; I can't do anything with achievement-trophies), miniguns, flamethrowers, remote bombs, and a real attack chopper. Now I know they plan on adding a couple of those things with the new DLC (even then you can't with the pc and ps3) but I already have Saints Row 2 which had all that stuff without buying an extra $20 dlc pack.
I kind of liked the realistic look/feel of gta4, but I don't see why adding that meant they had to take out all the fun.
