Poll: What was your First Pokemon?

i notice one or two other people like me. i had red with a bulbasaur, but i dont class it as my first real starter til gold with cyndaquil (as an aussie, a flaming echidna is just outright pure awesome). and like a few other people, my pidgeot and farfetch'd(yes i know..) would pwn virtually everything

I was kind of late to the Pokemon party, so my first Pokemon was Mudkip, I was utterly traumatized when I read the story behind the "I herd u liek mudkipz" meme

I shall always have a special place in my heart for charmander. Even though defeating brock with charmander always sucked.

Not to mention number 2 gym leader Misty, that was a harder fight with charmander.

Charmander was my first, I never knew Brock and Misty would be the first gym leaders so I thought, "fire breathing dragon, turtle or a little dog with a plant stuck on it .... fire breathing dragon it is."

My first game was Pokemon Yellow, so it was Pikachu. Sadly, I also sucked at Pokemon because I walked up to the Elite $ with a level 80-something Pikachu, and the rest of my party, were all in the 50's. Needless to say, I never beat the Elite 4 in Pokemon Yellow....

Ahah! I've dodged the system! You see, my first pokemon wasn't on my first game at all! It was in fact a Kabuto on my friend's Blue version that I borrowed! The thing is, he wouldn't let me restart, but He let me do what I wanted with any pokemon except his ones So YAY. I won this thread

Pikachu, I first played yellow on my brothers, but Squirtle on blue because I played my cousins when I was in Hospital, But I voted Cyndaquil because this is the first pokemon I chose on my own game, I've chosen Fire ever since.

Well, my first actual Pokémon was Torchic, because I was silly and my first Pokémon game was Emerald. But, since I've gone and bought HeartGold, I'll say Cyndaquil, because that's what I chose on that. Everyone loves fire!

My first ever Pokemon that I had was the simple Charmander. That is, until I fought Brock 6 times and got destroyed by his Geodude. Didn't even get to Onix. So, technically, Charmander was my first Pokemon, though I mainly played the game with Squirtle.
